Subject - The Commonwealth

My prime minister has asked me to contact you in order to discuss the possibility of establishing a commonwealth comprised of English speaking nation's bearing allegiance to the crown and cooperating with one another in manner that is beneficial to all. I urge you on behalf of my government to consider such an undertaking.

On a separate note, Her Majesty The Queen shall be invited courtesy of The Irish Government to attend Saint Patrick's Day festivities.

Sincerly,
Patrick Duffy, Foreign Minister of Èire

Dear Patrick Duffy, Foreign Minister of Èire,

Thank you for contacting the Office of the Prime Minister.

As you may know, the British Government has commitments to organisations, from the Global Assembly, to it's military and political role within the Independent States Allied Forces and more recently, it's founding position within the European Treaty Organisation. These roles come with a degree of their own responsibility and is something we are focusing our dedication too. The concept of the Commonwealth is something that has been repeatedly attempted, before ceasing. Whilst it's an option, we are going to prioritise our support for the ETO to ensure time isn't split and cause the downfall of multiple groups. With that in mind, I would like to inquire with yourself as to whether Ireland has any specific interest in joining the European Treaty Organisation?

Kind Regards,
JBourne

Thank You for getting back with me and my colleagues at the foreign office in Dublin, I really appreciate it Mr. Bourne. With regards to the commitments of Her Majesty's Government in The United Kingdom, the previously mentioned sentiments are understandable given the nature of your country's standing upon the world stage. However, my government sees the restoration of the commonwealth as a mutually beneficial undertaking rather than a burden of commitment and logistics. On the subject of joining the ETO, we have attempted to obtain membership but haven't heard from the organizations chairman much to our dismay. On a final note, my country is ready to accept your ambassador in Dublin.

Sincerely, Patrick Duffy.
God Save The Queen!

Dear Patrick Duffy, Foreign Minister of Èire,

Thank you for contacting the Office of the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Bourne is currently occupied in engagements for a State Visit between the UK and Turkey, however, I have picked up the communication as Deputy Prime Minister and will be your immediate contact for the relations between yourselves and the United Kingdom. We will arrange for our Ambassador in Dublin to travel to meet yourself where relations can be discussed thoroughly, and I will make contact with the European Treaty Organisation to discuss the possibility of Irish-ETO Cooperation.

Kind Regards,

With that in mind, the British Ambassador to Dublin would be informed of the development and arrange transport to meet a member of the Irish Government, his team had informed the Irish Government that he would set off at the earliest opportunity and when the weather appeared to be at its best given the state of how bad the snow had been.
