After having seen the direction of British policy changes regarding the status of the occupied six counties, The Irish Government has decided to respond to these changes in the following manner:

- The Reintroduction of conscription starting from the age of 18 no later than six months after graduation from secondary school. Conscious objectors may abstain from services at the front on their own accord.

- The Deployment of the 28th Infantry Battalion and 1st Cavalry along with The Lima Medical Brigade to the border with Northern Ireland for security purposes. Troops being deployed are to exercise restraint and are to avoid provacations...we do not want a war! Those who do not comply will be discharged at once. If one individual fires upon enemy troops with the intention of starting a firefight at the expense of the lives of those around him or her said individual will be executed.

- British Nationals in Èire must register with the police as resident aliens, who in the event of war can be detained as enemy aliens but only in accordance with the conventions of the civilised world.

- Sein Fein, The Left-Nationalist party, shall be banned as agents of provocation, bases set up by the IRA shall be destroyed and their members detained and disposed of.

- exempted from detainment as an enemy alien are

1). War Veterans of Irish Descent who have served in British Uniform or their widows

2) Children under the age of 13

3) Skilled Workers of necessity to the commercial and militaristic well being of the Republic

4) Religious Officials

The British Government has slammed the decision to move Irish Troops to the border, marking it as a provocative move forward by actively deploying troops on the border, a request was made to the Irish Defence Force to withdraw their decision to deploy forces along the border to prevent it causing further problems.

The Irish Government would refuse to withdraw members of the defence forces from the regions near the border with Northern Ireland but would emphasize that these troops are to protect the Irish side of the border in a defensive capacity and nothing more.

It would also be emphasized that those posted to the border shall be severely punished for any breach of protocol regarding the discharge of contents derived from their arms.

Due to the unfolding situation at the Canadian Embassy in Dublin and this decision to introduce conscription and quickly militarise, Canada will be withdrawing its Embassy from Dublin and staff will be evacuated on the Royal Canadian Air Force CC-150 Polaris aircraft at Dublin Airport. All British nationals who wish to depart Ireland free of charge to escape having to be treated as second-class citizens by the Irish government are welcome on board that same CC-150 Polaris aircraft as it will be making a stop in London.

The Irish Government would bid the Canadians farewell and would thank them for having been of assistance to Irish Nationals abroad in recents months but would nevertheless be sadden by the departure of old and steadfast friends.

The British Government would express concern on the amount of times the Irish Government has claimed that they will act if members of their Defence Force breaches protocol, highlighting it as a fact that either the Irish Government does not trust their forces, or are using the expression repeatedly so that it can be used as a ruse to carry out atrocities. Britain has no force on the border and would again, request that the Irish share that courtesy to ensure there isn't any tension.

This was echoed with the amount of times 'war' was used in the policy changes, sparking greater concern.

The Irish Government would continue in its refusal to back down until troops in Northern Ireland are withdrawn and a referendum on the constitutional status of said entity held.

The Irish Ministry of Defense would standby its government and would criticise Britain's insistance on that Irish troops leave their positions on the border while a military buildup is being pursued at the expense of Ireland's security.

It was pointed out that the only military buildup is the one that is been done on the Irish Border by the Irish Defence Force. A military buildup indicates that both sides are building a presence whereas Britain hasn't moved any form of military to the border to avoid any tension. Giving the Irish Government claims they desire peace, everything they've said and have done indicates otherwise.

The Irish Government would make it clear that the actions of the Irish Defense Forces were carried out in a manner not unlike any other nation trying to secure its own borders from a potentionally hostile neighbor with whom there is a dispute regarding a geographical area.

The Ministry of Defense would authorize the withdrawal of 28th Infantry leaving only the 1st Cavalry and the Lima Medics to attend to the security of the border alongside the Garda Síochána. Remaining units on the border would be encouraged to monitor the movements between the two sides of the borders and radio into headquarters if there is an escalation of tensions.

Again, Spain has offered to hold talks between Ireland and Great Britain to avoid a war breaking out.
