Official Statement

1. No To Partition

The Partition of The Island of Ireland was the culmination of many years worth of uninterrupted abuse on the part of an alien regime which utilized sectarian sentiments to divide and rule therefore we have no choice but to reject partition along with the political institutions that arose in Northern Ireland after 1921. No recognition is to be given nor friendship extended until the last British soldier ceases to be on Irish soil.

2. No To Capitalism

If we are to reject partition than by extension of this refusal we must be compelled to reject the capitalist economic ethoes that emerged as the spawn of British imperialism. Choosing instead to embrace the organic alternative - the social ownership of the means of production in favour of those who use it on a consistent basis that this ownership will be of great benefit to the wellbeing of all Irish citizens. We shall therefore reject Capitalism as much as we shall reject Communism.

3. No to Military Intervention Overseas

The Armed Forces of The Republic of Ireland are in no way, shape, or form prepared for the advent of war let alone the taking on of those responsibilities as enjoyed by the great powers and should at any cost avoid intervening in the domestic affajrs of other nations outside of Ireland. We are not imperialists, we simply wish to reunify our homeland in its entirety.

4. No to Free Trade

Ireland's industrial capacity is nothing to be taken seriously and is in no position to compete so long as 80% of our available industrial output remains under the control of the alien regime to our north. Though free trade has done wonders for this country we must assume a reluctant adherence to protectionist trade policies so as to empower the home industries and protect the employment of our citizens.

KINGDOM OF NORWAY
MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

It is without provocation that the Irish government has repeatedly attacked the United Kingdom diplomatically, economically, and now politically. A treaty that ended senseless bloodshed in one of the most captivating places of the world has been discarded, seemingly without little consideration for the consequences. Now, in an affront to the very sovereignty of the United Kingdom, the Irish government has seen it fit to question their borders. It is the unequivocal stance of His Majesty's government that Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom. The Norwegian government condemns this, and the preceding provocations, by the Irish government. It is our hope that the Irish government returns to a state of normalcy and walks back these attacks.

The Kingdom of Norway offers its unfettered support to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Jakob Vinter
Minister of Foreign Affairs

After receiving encrypted orders from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Norwegian embassy in Dublin began burning any and all sensitive documents. This began shortly before the message above was released.

The Foreign Minister of Ireland would receive the communique and would mark it off as spam before proceeding to delete it.

"Most of Europe seems to have turned a blind eye to the excesses of imperialism committed against the people of Ireland under British rule in the north...." he took a sip of tea and walked away from his desk.
