| CONFEDERATION OF INDEPENDENT STATES OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS |
The Process The Confederation of Independent States is an alliance of likeminded nations that aim to achieve sustainable and long term growth and development through political and economic cooperation. The principles of mutual assistance, dialogue and support is elemental and one of the foundational pilars of the CIS. According to the Charter of the Confederation of Independent States, potential new candidates to become Parties of the CIS have to be sponsored by one of the Core Partners. This Core Partner will bring the candidacy to the Polical Board, which will consider the candidate and, in case of unanimous approval, grant him the status of Supporting Partner. Should the new Supporting Partner express its interest in becoming a Core Partner, with the duties and reponsabilities that this bares, it has to express its formal interest to the Political Board, which again will privately discuss the potential change and give their veredict. This process requires for all Core Partners to be in accordance. |
