Despite the Ottawa events and the war between Canada and France currently ongoing, the democracy of Canada did not stop—though it was delayed by a month by decree of His Majesty the King. Millions of people have swarmed to the voting polls throughout Canada, despite the fears of recent months. The following parties are allowed to participate in the federal election:
