With news of the Prime Minister's death reaching the ears of the citizens of Thailand, an election would be held for the next Prime Minister of Thailand. Many parties would be grabbing for power, using the recent terror attack in Bangkok as leverage. Many would blame the current government's alignments as to causing the terror attack along with the deaths of the thousands who died during it.
The Royal Party of Thailand would retaliate by announcing that none of its decisions caused the attack and that the attack was caused by nothing more than terrorists who blamed the current Thai people for decisions made by Thailand centuries ago. It would promise that such a terrorist attack would never happen again and that with its re-election, the insurgency in the south would be dealt with and all those involved in the terror attack would be faced with justice.
After roughly twelve days, the people of Thailand would have to vote.
The following parties that can be voted on are shown here:
Royal Party of Thailand, Yingluck Shinawatra: Pro-monarchy, pro-military. Centre to center-right winged.
Bhumjaithai Party, Anutin Charnvirakul: Populism, pro-monarchy, anti-military. Right winged.
