If anyone could answer any one of these quesitons it would be greatly appresciated, as I will mention later I am confused to a great extent.

1. What is the role of countries that haven't been selected by anyone? Are they essentially baron wasteland until someone chooses them? Could someone invade them?
2. How does the millitary work? Like I get that I start with 15,000 personnel, but how do I train more? How do I build ships and make equipment? Is there a system to this or is just roleplay/somewhat based off history?
3. How does production and economics work? Is this just made up too? How do I produce something, and what does it mean to do something locally?
4. How does the catalogue work? It seems like it is just a bunch of random planes which is kind of confusing
5. What are national projects? Do they do anything or are they just roleplay?
6.

"The police force, border authorities and custom agencies are grandfathered into the forums and you may use any of the three during your time with us. However, you will need to produce almost everything else. "

What does this mean? Do the police force, border authorities and custom agencies do anything?

7.
"When you register, the condition of your country including national laws, diplomatic missions, geographical borders and infrastructure are the same as your real-life counterpart."

Do the national laws and infasctructure mean anything or are they just there for roleplaying

Essentially, I don't understand where the line is between roleplay and concrete calculations, and basically don't understand how anything works. I have read the rules, they have helped but I am still thouroughly confused. Also, what is the name of the discord, I couldn't find it? And is someone willing to let me copy the basic form of their government/make a similar version of their subforums (is that the right word?).

Hello ValorousVizier! I will try to answer your question as best as I can! The link to the discord server is basically at the bottom of the website's main page.

1. They are fundamentally based on real life. Anything that happened before 1995 was enacted in these countries. You can invade them, but you need to inform the staff via support ticket in advance. It is already in the ruleset and starting guide.
2. Refer to Roleplay ruleset of military and intelligence in sector 4, "Operatives must be trained for at least 31 out-of-character days, $5,000 per recruit. This training can be described as Orientation, so we advise doing training exercises." And refer to the Economy article in the Starting guide, there are entirely button for access to each page on the right side of the website (PC website.) I understand that the font of this website is hard to read, so feel free to ask!
3. The production is used to produce something that your country has accessed, and the Economy will change based on your roleplay. I believe there is either Starting guide or a Roleplay ruleset. When you produce something, there will be price and time. Do something locally meaning that your country has a right to make it domestically. It's licensed in real life.
4. I know there are a lot of planes and things, but it is all real life. I mean, when I search it online, I will find it. You can't expect the world to have only one variant or model, right?
5. There is in the Starting Guide. You build something. You will get it. If you construct more police stations, your crime will reduce. It is what a good leader should do, right!
6. Grandfather is a thing that you can use freely, meaning that they already exist for your country without the need to make a thread(subforum) for them to use. Police capture thieves and others. Border authorities control your border. It's like real life.
7. Let's say you don't include law in your country when you roleplay, anyone can just invade you because you might not have an entire constitution saying you are a seventy country. People will kill each other and you can't jail them. If your country doesn't have an infrastructure, How can you welcome other countries' leaders with the luxury airport? Everything is roleplay, you can roleplay a life of a person whatever you want. Roleplay is usually subject to what we have in real life.

P.s. You can freely ask more. I might be sarcastic, but you can count on me. Also, if you want the template, I can give you! Just contact me via discord!

Hello ValorousVizier, I can clarify on some of the answers Bossza007 told you.

Basically everything in your country including laws, Government, and culture is the same until you change it in RP, don’t worry if you have done anything with your education or police because that all will works by itself. In fact I have not done any education or economic projects for the most part and there haven’t been too many problems. If Morocco had a police service in Casablanca then it’s still there and you can RP the control of said police force. What you have to create is your Government structure and military. Think of the site as similar to Model UN, you control the Foreign affairs, Government, and military of your nation to interact with others. The other nations are still there and are relevant but they are sort of like AI in a game where you can’t communicate with said nations but you can conduct military operations against them though the nations will defend themselves in RP(Another user will RP the nation you attack, including it’s armed forces.
I’m more of a specialist(not exactly) in the armed forces department but you have to create everything from the ground up, including tanks, planes, ships, even recruiting new personnel. There are little indicators that you can click on that will automatically produce equipment/make a project/ once you indicate what it is that you can produce. The catalog is a list of what you can produce but keep in mind you can only produce equipment that your nation operates or has created.
i.e. Turkey operates the F-16A Combat jet. I(Turkey) can make said jet since IRL Turkey uses this aircraft but when I produce the aircraft it can be blocked by the USA because In order to build the jet you assume the parts are coming from the U.S. When you go into the catalog just search for in the search bar for an weapon or piece of equipment that Morocco uses and then produce it. It’s that simple. Try to produce things in smaller numbers because it can take an astronomically long time to produce let’s say 1,000 armored cars. If there are any other questions or if I need to clarify please let me know. The Forum is quite fun once you get a grasp on how things work which can take a week or so, don‘t let all the writing discourage you from what you want to do.
If you want to create a monarchy in Morocco and then RP with other players the formation of an alliance then do it. You can do absolutely anything you want whenever you want!

1. What is the role of countries that haven't been selected by anyone? Are they essentially baron wasteland until someone chooses them? Could someone invade them?

We refer to these countries as "NPC" or "Non Player Countries". They exist as they do (or did) in the current game year with some exceptions. They are not RPed by anyone, and players are discouraged from trying to do any kind of RP with NPCs. If a player wants to invade or attack a NPC they must inform the Staff Team first, because someone in the MN community would need to be assigned to RP that country. In the case of a war, a NPC country gets every military asset they have in real life.

2. How does the military work? Like I get that I start with 15,000 personnel, but how do I train more? How do I build ships and make equipment? Is there a system to this or is just roleplay/somewhat based off history?

These questions should be answered here.

3. How does production and economics work? Is this just made up too? How do I produce something, and what does it mean to do something locally?

See the threads in this forum.

4. How does the catalogue work? It seems like it is just a bunch of random planes which is kind of confusing

If you want to build a product that your country has access too, it must be in the catalogue for you to build it. If it is not in the catalogue, you need to make a price request for it to be added there. The catalogue is important so that you can easily find the year the product was introduced and the price it costs to build one of the items.

5. What are national projects? Do they do anything or are they just roleplay?

National Projects can be anything from updating a city's subway system to building a new national power grid - you're basically limited by your imagination and physical reality. These projects can change your national statistics, which can be found here.

6. "The police force, border authorities and custom agencies are grandfathered into the forums and you may use any of the three during your time with us. However, you will need to produce almost everything else. "
What does this mean? Do the police force, border authorities and custom agencies do anything?

You can RP the police, border authorities, and some other entities in your country such as your Coast Guard. However you cannot use these forces in war. If you'd like to be able to use these forces in the event of a war, then you would need to use them.

7. "When you register, the condition of your country including national laws, diplomatic missions, geographical borders and infrastructure are the same as your real-life counterpart."
Do the national laws and infasctructure mean anything or are they just there for roleplaying

At the most basic level, you need infrastructure for your government to government and your military to be based. Your laws are largely an aspect of RP, but it can be a justification for your country doing or not doing things.

Hopefully this has helped. If you have more questions please feel free to ask. Also, it may help you to join our Discord server if you haven't already.
