Vinban Faheit sat in his new office, contemplating his next move. He denounced the Communist rebels in Mumbai and promised to rebuild Mumbai. He had allies with the Terrorist groups in the north. He knew the government was on to him judging by the Conflict going on in the Kashmir region. He knew he would have to act fast. He made some phone calls to close allies of his to prepare for the next phase of his plan. His last phone call was to that of his secretary. He would schedule a press conference.
"Ladies, Gentlemen, and Comrades, thank you for joining me today. India is in a state of emergency, whether or not the Government officials admit it or not. We were promised no more spending by the Government and an economic recovery plan. However the Government has used your hard earned money on more military equipment. They are still producing trucks and tanks for the Army, they just bought an Aircraft Carrier from Ukraine, which they kept secret until it's arrival! They are currently planning on purchasing planes for our depleted Air Force. The spending needs to stop now, I urge you all to put forth petitions to begin a vote of no confidence in President Sharma and his administration! I am throwing my name in for the President of India come next election in November. My actions have spoke for themselves. Even now I am organizing a FREE movement to rebuild Mumbai. My supporters are flooding to the area to assist in the relief efforts. The Army Engineers will assist in the rebuild efforts. If elected I promise to end all hostilities in the Kashmir region and let them hold a fair and free vote on whether or not they wish to remain with India. I promise the end of the insurgents causing us this hardship. I promise an end to this Financial Crisis. I am who you want to lead India. President Sharma is an old man with old ideologies. There can be no future for India with him in power. VOTE FOR ME AND TOGETHER WE CAN LIBERATE INDIA AND THRUST HER INTO THE FUTURE!"
Once more the crowd cheered for Faheit. His power base continued to grow over the past few months, however it now seemed as if all of India supported him. Faheit would return to his office and look at the latest polls, he was trending at an outstanding 82%. His plans were set in motion, now all he had to do is wait for the people of India to do their part.

The camera's would pan in as news stations from across the country would be present. Vinban Faheit would be sporting his typical silk, brown, 3-piece suit, however this time on one side of his collar was a communist pin, and on the other the pin of the Government of India. He would look at the crowd, there must have been tens of thousands of people present and millions more watching from home. June, 1998
