Mario sat with his back against the half wall. High up on the rooftops of the urban district of Iasi, he waited for the first decisive act of the branch of the Order of the Dragon in the city. He was giddy. It would be easy. He lifted the PSL rifle up and onto the ledge. He scanned the streets. There. A convoy of SUVs driven by Muslims heading to the mosque beneath him. He aimed at the windshield, scanning the entire column. His men had eavesdropped in a Muslim neighborhood and found out that an extended family was going to the mosque for their sons Iman, the celebration following a Muslim child's first time finishing reading the entire Quran. They had identified the vehicles. They estimated 18 people in the convoy.

He glanced to his left, and on the rooftop over sat two more snipers. The same was true to the right. He cracked his knuckles, said his prayers to god, and began to fire. The first car's windshield shattered. It veered off the road and into the side of a Cafe. The next car's back slammed on the breaks, and the last car in the line slammed into the one in front of it. Shots rang out as he and his comrades slammed round after round into the Muslims. He laughed as he murdered a mother and father, leaving the infant child in the back seat alive. The order would raise him into a warrior.

Then there was an unfamiliar popping sound from the ground. He ducked down just as a hail of bullets tore through the air where his head was. Stone chips from the half wall flew through the air. The firing subsided and he took his cap off, holding it just above the wall. It disintegrated under heavy fire. Mario began to crawl to the ladder on the rear of the building. He heard a man on a roof next to him curse in pain. He reached the ladder. Quickly climbing down to the fire escape he began rushing down the rickety structure. A Dacia Duster screeched to a stop just underneath the steps and Mario leaped in.

They were a few miles away when he got the word over their radios. "Those were Muslims, sir. A militia. They were waiting for us. What should we do?" Mario thought for a moment. He knew only one way to deal with this disaster.
"Bring up our full strength. We regroup five miles from here at the HQ. We stand there and wait for them."

The driver pulled a lurching turn towards the new destination. Mario pondered the situation at hand. The Muslims had formed their own fighting force. This would be a thorn in his side.

The DShK rattled away into the streets. The window in front of it had been opened, and now its covering fire was buying them precious time. On the roof and scattered throughout the building about twenty men were acting as sharpshooters with
PSL rifles, 1 DShK gunner, 2 Mitraliera md. 66 gunners, and 60 other members armed with a mixture of MP5s and PA md. 86s. Down on the ground, the Muslims were returning not insignificant fire. It seemed they had several LMGs, and already nearly a dozen of the Romanians were wounded. The streets were however littered with corpses. 4 armed men had been struck while transported ammunition and a dozen innocent civilians had been killed in the crossfire. The police were very poorly equipped for this scenario. Messages were sent to the chief of defense, Vlad Dracula, begging for military reinforcements. But he concluded that that would break the Treaty of Madrid. Thus four dozen officers attempted to breach the office building from which the Romanians were fighting. Ramming down the back door, they were met by an IED. 2 dozen of them incapacitated or dead, the others forged ahead with their service pistols. They began to climb the stairway after finding the first floor empty. A trio of Dragons appeared from a janitor's closet and blocked the steps behind them. Another five came from above. The mass execution cut down each and every one of them. They then went over to the back door to execute the rest.

By the end of the fighting, the Muslim militia backed off. Fourteen Muslim bodies were recovered along with 8 Romanians. 24 civilians were dead in the streets.

The story is reported, and it makes it worldwide. After an investigation, the government claims to be unable to explain how the perpetrators acquired the weapons.
