"Good day, Minister Kamaal Ahmed speaking, how may I be of service?"

"Minister Ahmed, how are you? Thank you for taking my call. To get straight to the point, I have received information about a formal request from the Republic of France to take out a credit in the Central Bank of Argentina.

This is just a routine call, but given that the GA has not yet approved the international legislation, which we would love to be supported by France, we wanted to ask some questiones before we give the final approval. I hope this is ok with you.

"I'm doing good, thank you.

It's no problem at all, I'd be more than happy to answer any questions that Argentina has for France concerning any subject you wish to discuss."

"Thank you for your understanding. To begin with, I understand France desires to take out a loan from the Argentine Central Bank. Of how much would we be talking?"

"France is interested in taking out a loan of 10,000,000,000.00$."

"That can be done. Let us just check something with another ongoing loand that will seemingly be defaulted by the client. Once be recover those funds, which will happen in few days, we will use those funds for your request.

Now, to a more political aspect of the issue. We are concerned about the conflict arising around Brazil with some nations, but we are specially concerned regarding the issue with France. Could you enlighten us about the reasons?"

"That sounds good to us.

Well, considering Argentina's proximity to Brazil I suppose you are entitled to know about the fragile situation. From what I am aware of, Minister Mohammed Ahmed and a single executive from two of France's biggest automobile companies traveled to Brazil to work out a deal with Brazil on building two factories in Brazil. When Mohammed Ahmed told them that they could not do such a thing, Minister DeSilva threatened and insulted them saying that they have not been given the okay to take off via their plane. Along with the Brazilian police blocking off the French embassy in the capital, which goes against the Global Assembly's international laws on diplomacy.

Apart from that, I am unaware of what is currently happening in Brazil apart from Minister Mohammed Ahmed and the executives doing their best to leave the country."

"I see. Well, I understand it is in both our nations best interest for this issue to not escalate. We will talk with the Government of Brazil and clarify things. We will solve this issue and your citizen will be able to leave freely. We will also vouch for the security of your embassy personnel."

"We are in communication with the brazilian Government and we will guarantee that no french interests will be affected by this incident, that I can promise. However, I cannot vouch for whatever actions the italians might undertake. I do not want to have an armed conflict in the Mediterranean Sea."

Minister Florence Parly would take the phone from Minister Kamaal.

"Italy is simply protecting its neighbor. France has no interest in any armed conflict either, but we will defend ourselves to teeth and bone if need be. Make sure to inform your neighbor to get their heads on straight."

"Brazil is very informed about not involving France in this, and the Federative Republic does not have military assets in the mediterranean sea, so no military actions will be possible from their side. Can you guarantee the italians do not anything foolish?"

"The Mediterranean Sea is not what worries us at the moment, Brazil threatened us with war - on live television I might add - by stating that they could have warships in our waters within a week.

I can do my best to keep Italy from attacking Brazil, but if any action by Brazil is made towards France or Italy then we will be holding nothing back."

"Brazil will not engage any french or italian interest unprovoked. The only way would be if a brazilian asset is target of an armed aggresion."

'Yet it threatened to, unprovoked. Might I add that they also threatened the lives of my fellow Minister and the company executives that were with him in Brazil's capital? Once again, unprovoked.

I'll be having a conversation with the Grand Marshal of Italy, but if we see any armed Brazilian ships near our waters, we will retaliate."

"There will be no brazilian ships there for the moment. I do however remind you that Argentina has an important naval base in the Mediterranean Sea and that routine traffic of our vessels might occur through that area."

"I mean no offense Mr. Erbes, but when it comes to national security I can't simply take your word for it. As for your naval base in the Mediterranean Sea, Argentina was not the one to threaten war with France so your vessels are no problem for us."

Florence would dismiss the other Minister.

"If there are any other questions Argentina would like to ask me then I will answer them to the best of my ability, but perhaps we should stick to the subject of the call?"

"Just remember that Argentina has no problem at all with France, and that we will only intervene if Germany or Italy attack any brazilian interest.

As for the loan, we still have that pending, we hope to be able to move forward with it as soon as this crazy world calms down again..."

"The status of the loan is entirely understandable.

As for Germany and Italy, we can't control them, they are their own sovereign nations and we certainly didn't ask them to jump into this whole mess. Regardless, I hope things soon calm down and everything returned to normal."
