[Argentina] Call to Germany

Argentine Minister Of Defence, Juan Manuel Cauteruccio, would call his german counterpart over an encrypted line.

The with Federal Government moved from Berlin to Munich, the call would take some time to be redirected to the proper channel. In that time, the Federal Intelligence Service encrypted the call and the Federal Minister of Defence, Peter Nickel, answered.

"Yes? This is the Minister of Defence for Germany," he started, waiting for his compatriot to answer back.

"Minister, thank you for taking my call. First Of all, let me extend you our solidarity over the current situation currently sweeping over Europe. If We can be of any help, please let us know. Our disaster relief units are standing by.

But know, to the reason of my call. I wanted to inquire about the possibility of acquiring limited DPR for a series of MEKO frigates. The ones employed by South Africa that have been all build in Germany. We would be able to offer $500,000,000.00 for the right sto produce a maximum of 50 units locally in Argentina."

The Federal Defence Minister sighed, not wanting to have to state this again to anyone.
"Look, I appreciate the offer...but I must confess...we have not a military for ourselves right now. All of our equipment, including naval vessels, have been repossessed by their respective companies. As far as I am concerned, the German military is in more need of these companies' arms than the Argentinian navy. You will have to reach a little higher than the offer you are currently presenting to me," Peter stated rather sternly.
