Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs Daniel Osvaldo would set an encrypted call to his russian counterpart.

The Russian Foreign Minister would answer the call ensuring it was encrypted at his end “Sergey Lavrov speaking! How can I help?

"Minister Lavrov, how are you? Thank you for taking up call.

It has come to my Government's attention that we did not renew the argentine-russian links sinceramente your Government entered into power.

As you might know, Argentina and Russia benefited from a healthy and positive relation during the last years. Our intention is to continue doing so by re launching bilateral political and commercial talks."

“I’m good yourself Minister? How would you propose we re-launch both Political and Commerical talks? I’m definitely all ears to suggestions”

"Well, trade is always a good starting point on which to build. We are currently looking for new providers of ores for our industry to process. We know that Russia is very strong in oil and gas exports, but we have been recently expanding our own fossil fuel production and at the moment we have our demand covert.

What does Russia offer?

We can provide, among other things, grain, meat, oil seeds and chemicals. Is your nation looking for something specific?"

"Russia can offer any of the following items: Petroleum and petroleum products, natural gas, metals, wood and wood products, chemicals. We are looking to import Meats & Grain"

"Could you ellaborate please on what types of materials you export? If they are suited to our needs, se would gladly engage in commerce for our grain and meat."

“What are you in need off? That way I can see if we can help you out there”

"Does your nation export any type of raw ressource aside from fossil fuels? We need more input for our industry to keep producing in expanding its output."

“We can provide you with Natural Gas, Petrolum & Ores”

"Great, if you could expand on what type of ores we are talking about we can directly move on to the signing of the contracts (form)."

“Ores aluminum, arsenic, cement, copper, magnesium compounds and metals, nitrogen, palladium, silicon, and vanadium.”

"We would like to import russian aluminium, copper, magnesium compounds and silicon. IN exchange we offer meat and grains."

"Shall we sign the agreement? Also, how is the russian military industry currently operating? Does it have an official commercialization agency to contact?"

“Certainly, the Russian Military Industry is overseen by a committee from the Ministry of Defence, do you require anything specific?”

"We would potentially be looking at reinforcing our airspace defence command with some S-300PMU2, if they would be for sale."

 

[Andy]

“Sadly that isn’t for sale, however I’m sure we can come to some sort of arrangement on a different piece of equipment for air defence”

"What could you offer in replacement? We already operate a number Of S-300PMU2 and would like to work on commonality"

“Unlike our predecessors we care about the integrity of the equipment used by our armed forces. We can offer the ordinary S300”
