The Anûšiya-an-Sha (Companions of the King)
This is the first branch of the armed forces of the kingdom. Both in rang, honor, and also chronological.
Founded as an very loyal milita to protect the King and insure his reign, it is consisted out of 10.000 personal.
It is founded by 1000 loyal, noble familys, who each has to provide for 11 orphans, of which 10 are send to serve in the Anûšiya, while the 11th serves as an reserve, so that the 10.000 always may keep that sacred number. In the world there are known as "Immortals", athough this name is an missleading translation into greek, from the persian word for companion, and therefore that is there name today as in the old days of the Sha'an'Shas.

The Kàra-an-Sha (Royal Army)
This is the largest branch of the Irani armed forces. It also is in the formal hierachie the second highest branch, after the Companions of the King. While tehy are directly under the King and they just have an ordinary "Commander" who leads for the King of Kings, the Army is placed in peace time under the defense Ministry, even with the Sha'an'Sha as formal leader of all armed forces.
The Army ist therefore governet by an "Governor", the "šahrab" (greek: Satrab) of the Army and therefore highest ranking soldier in the Army.
The seat of the operational command is in Isfahan, so that the Army Command is seperated from its overseeing politcal defense Ministry in Tehran. casualy the šahrab has an office in Tehran though, to directly be able to communicate with the defense ministry, while his Deputy, the Lord-General of the Army, are always at the top of the general staff in Isfahan.

The Navpàsahn-an-Sha (the Navy of the King)
The Imperial Navy is the guardian of Iran’s shores, straits, and waters, tasked with defending the Kingdom from seaborne threats and projecting power along the coasts of the Persian Gulf and the wider Indian Ocean. It is the third-largest branch of the armed forces, ranking after the Companions of the King and the Imperial Army.

Formally, the Navy is commanded by the King of Kings himself, but like the Army it is placed in times of peace under the Defense Ministry. At its head stands the šahrab of the Navy, the satrap-admiral who serves as the highest officer of the fleet, overseeing all operations and maritime defense. Beneath him stands the Grand Admiral, the chief of the naval staff and master of the daily affairs of the fleet.
The operational headquarters of the Navy is located in Bandar Abbas, the traditional heart of Iran’s maritime power, ensuring direct control over the Strait of Hormuz. The šahrab of the Navy, like his Army counterpart, stands in Tehran for constant contact with the Defense Ministry, while the Grand Admiral is presence at the naval staff in Bandar Abbas.

The Márzphàn-an-Sha (Royal Force of Air)
The Imperial Air Force is the smallest of the three main branches of the armed forces, but it fulfills an essential role in the defense structure of the Kingdom. Its responsibilities lie in the protection of Iranian airspace and the support of ground and naval operations.

The Air Force is the most compact branch of the armed forces, but one with increasing importance due to its modernizing outlook and growing focus on unmanned systems.
Formally, the Air Force is commanded by the King of Kings, yet, as with the other branches, it is placed under the Defense Ministry in times of peace. The šahrab of the Air serves as its highest-ranking officer, responsible for the strategic direction of the branch. Supporting him is the High Marshal of the Air, who oversees the general staff and the operational day-to-day matters of the force.
The headquarters of the Air Force is located in Isfahan, separating its operational command from the Defense Ministry in Tehran. As with the Army and Navy, the šahrab maintains an office in Tehran for coordination, while the High Marshal remains with the command staff at Isfahan.

Pāzvān ī Nām ī Spāh

(Honorable Guards of the Army)
The "Pāzvān ī Nām ī Spāh" or often only called Pazvan is neither an branch or an own administrative, operative part of the Iranian armed forces.
Instead it serves as an symbolic "legion", so to speak in more western terms, an "order" and honorable "symbol", as well as an Flag and Coat of Arms, commissioned to certain units of the armed forces.
These are able and honored, to be part of the Pazvan, by having the orders Flag as part of their unit emblems, as well as they get an extra pay and ceremonial honors and privileges, right after the Anûšiya-an-Sha. Also these Units, after the companions of the King, are used for honor guard duties, be it for the Sha'an'Sha itself or the government etc.

Until now only units on either Brigade or Battalion level, on the Navy side a Crew of a certain vessel or for the Airforce individual Airwings are regarded with this honor.
A special part of the Pazvan is also to regard certain ethnic Units, formed by the many ethnic minorities of Iran with this honor, to show there exceptional quality and loyalty to the King of Kings and Èran. While the Companions of the King are all Persian, of old and some more recent nobility, the Pazvan shall give all the "tribes" of Iran also the opportunity and reason to be proud of their contribution to the military of the Country.
