Dear Minister Tejeda, I am reaching out because after the recent meeting between our Ambassador to Spain and your Minister for Foreign Affais, they came to an understanding that the National Gallery of Australia will undertake a special exhibition of the works of Pablo Picasso on loan from the Spanish Government and/or Spanish art institutions. Currently in the gallery's collection is a full set of one of Picasso's Vollard Suite. Everything else will need to come from Spain. We're looking at having around about 100 pieces on loan from Spain. We will split the gallery into 10 sections with about 8-12 works per section, those being:
