FROM: Jade Wolfe, United States Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia
Minister Combet,
Federal law prohibits the export of drones or unmanned aircraft to other countries, so the United States cannot agree to the production or purchase of RQ-21 Blackjacks by the Australian government. However, with that being said, we can agree to a limited production license of x16 P-8A Poseidons for your government. You should be able to produce these on your own and, with that in consideration, the federal government will not charge any kind of fee if they are produced within the next thirty days. This is, of course, on the condition that the P-8As are never sold, loaned, leased, given, or surrendered to any other country or organization without the expressed permission of the United States government.
With that being said, in regard to the original AP-3C Orions, they can be sold to the following countries: the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Sweeden, or the Kingdom of Poland. Alternatively, your government may also scrap them.
