Dear Minister,
I am writing to you to extend my warmest greetings as I take up my role in Paris as Ambassador of the State of Austria. It is with great respect and optimism that I write to you for the first time, marking the beginning of what I hope will be a constructive and forward-looking dialogue between our two nations.
Austria and France share a longstanding relationship grounded in mutual respect, cultural affinity, and a shared commitment to European stability and prosperity, with diplomacy between our two states going back centuries.
In light of the ever evolving economic and geopolitical landscape, I believe there is significant opportunity to further deepen Franco-Austrian collaboration. Enhanced dialogue on trade, investment, and innovation would yield substantial mutual benefit.
With this in mind, I would like to propose a bilateral meeting to explore avenues for expanding cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, movement of peoples, security and strategic policy alignment. I am confident that such an exchange would serve as a valuable step toward strengthening our already positive relationship.
