Operation Command, Republic of Korea

President Kim Daejung: “Gentlemen, please be seated. Director Suh can you please bring us up to speed on the situation developing on our eastern border?”

Director Suh (National Intelligence Service): “Kakao, we have not been monitoring the situation in Russia outside of financial intelligence through the Ministry of Economy and Finances’ specialized bureau. Primarily, our intelligence gathering operations pertained to North Korea and in portion the North Korean-Russian Border. The current situation in Russia destabilized faster than anticipated with local reports, uncorroborated by our or other Asian intelligence agencies, of various army units defecting to different causes. Our intelligence since in full honesty Kakao is not on solid rock. However, from our gatherings, we’ve concluded that effective Government control outside of Vladivostok is non-existent with armed militiamen in control. Whether Vladivostok is in full Government control is questionable. It is possible that Government forces, if remaining, are unable to hold against an insurgent attack.”

President Kim: “Do we know if there are any legitimate threats to our country Director. Do the insurgents have any clear goals, desires, plans, ideology?”

Director Suh: “Kakao, to our understanding there is no clear threat to the country. The risk of a spillover is unlikely unless we contribute in a meaningful way to the Russian Federation’s war efforts. Whether political, military, or economic. Any assistance or allowance of staging of troops would bring us into the conflict prematurely. As far as ideology goes, we did not have any chatter of communist-based insurgents on the border area, the insurgents in the far-east are...fascist inspired neo-nazis and other extremist groups on the right.

President Kim: “The risk at the moment is minimal. However, a spillover is never unlikely. No doubt any of their backers will want to use Korea to supply weapons to these extremists and their ideology. As well as foreign fighters joining their cause. We would be an ideal transit point, considering the uncertainty of crossing through the Sino-Russo border. Director, we will need to increase our intelligence capabilities and our prevention strategies. I hope you will be able to double your efforts to monitor chatter and also monitor ports near the border for illicit cargo and goods, and people.” The Intelligence Director nodded his head in affirmation as he handed his subordinate a note to relay back to the operational intelligence wing. “Chairman, what is the military consideration at this time. How can we avoid having a prolonged conflict on our border and our capabilities to repel aggression.”

Chairman Park Kyungjil (Joint Chiefs of Staff): “Sir, the current opinion of the military is a redirected military presence along the border region. The primary objective of this military presence would be deterrence as well as to limit the flow of arms, persons, and money through our border. We’ve drawn up plans for the 9th White Horse Infantry Division, supported by the Capitol Mechanized Division’s Artillery Support regiment. If an escalation continues we would have to deploy further assets of the White Skulls division and the 82 Airborne Division. Kakao, we have increased our military readiness for a situation like this. We are continuously monitoring the situation and making appropriate plans. We would like to proceed with a limited aerial operation, conducting electronic intelligence and surveillance reconnaissance. We would deploy assets from the 8th Fighter Squadron to provide support for the operation. They are currently stationed at Orang our closest dedicated military airbase in the area. Supporting the 1919th Intelligence & Reconnaissance Squadron which would relocate its assets from Seoul and Osan.”

President Kim: “What would be our exposure in such an operation. How confident are we of success, and what would be the benefits of conducting these actions now. Although limited, it would be a major risk if failures were to occur. What would be the likely scenario if a complication occurred.”

General Han Chusok (Chief of Staff of the Air Force): “Sir, the intelligence would be reconnaissance in nature. The primary goals is to collect electronic intelligence near Vladivostok to map out any anti-air assets, to monitor communication running through the region, and any other information. This could be achieved through flying near, but not in Russian Air Space. We could have E-767 AWACS in the air as soon as needed with on-alert aircrafts stationed in Daegu. The E-767 can detect targets over a range of 320km with 360 coverage. Tracking ground, aerial, and maritime targets. Smaller targets can be detected, however, capabilities at a wider range are not as accurate to pinpoint. The E-767 can store over three million words and could transfer them live to the Forward Operational Command or our Command Center. The reconnaissance operation is a little more difficult.” Our Mig-25 Reconnaissance Aircrafts would be deployed to Orang. Fitted with A-87 and A-10-10 cameras, they’d have a focal length of 650 and 1300rnm respectively. This would allow them to take photographs from an altitude of 22,000m (72,173ft) and climb to an altitude of 23,000 and 24,000m. The MiG-25 has a maximum ceiling of 80,000 feet which is still targetable by the older Soviet arsenal of S-75 Dvina missiles. If detected, any Soviet aerial assets could down the aircraft if capable of reaching the aircraft. We’d have KAI KF--16 aircrafts on standby, with advanced SEAD missiles. SEAD missiles are designed to track electronic signatures of missile batteries and neutralize them. Alongside the E-767 we could have optimal coverage and detect existing sites before launching the second phase of the operation.”

President Kim: “Let’s review the proposal when it is complete. There is no need to take aggressive maneuvers now or to spy on the Russians. If the situation escalates, we will have to act to protect our interests accordingly. Gentlemen, please keep me up to date.”

General Han Chusok: “Sir, with all due respect. If we wait, we may lose our window of opportunity. While the Russian militias are not adequately equipped and the state of the Russian armed forces degraded after a year of economic turmoil, we may not get another chance.”

President Kim: “I’ll review the proposals accordingly. Admiral Park. Please, begin plans for the redeployment discreetly. Let’s not give the world the impression we’re about to invade our neighbors. Quietly and effectively…” The National Defense Minister would be given a note that the American Defense Department wanted to speak about a request for docking U.S. Naval Forces to replenish. Getting up as the President got up, Minister Park Hyunjin walked with the President to inform him.

Minister Park Hyunjin (National Defense): “President Kim. It is the Americans.”He said as he handed the President the note to read. “Can I give them the go ahead?” President Kim read the note, and looked at the Minister.

President Kim: “What do you think Minister Park, should we?” The President said looking at his Minister as the two stopped in the hallways as the uniformed military command left the building to plan for Operational Plan 620-1.

Minister Park: “Yes sir. It would be beneficial to our security arrangements with the need to redeploy assets. We will likely have to move our own ships to protect the maritime border area. Having Americans in the region will have the Chinese and Japanese think twice before anything...and go a long way to improve relations between our countries.”

President Kim: “Tell them they can use the ports in the Southern parts of the country. I am sure Jeju, Busan, or Donghae will do well.”

Minister Park: “Yes sir. Thank you.” An aide came to remind the President of the call he needed to take with the Governor of Pyongyang over a grid issue that had been developing that needed attention. And the Afternoon meeting with the Grand National Party Chairman. The President thanked the Minister and excused himself. Moving to deal with matters of State.

Pro-Monarchist Protesters in Western Russia

With the news of the coronation of Catherine III as the Tsarina of Russia, supported by both the northern militaries and the Russian Orthodox Church and the Patriarch of Russia himself, reaching Russians throughout the country - especially those with deep Orthodox beliefs, more and more support for a constitutional monarchy to take hold of Russia has rooted itself in the beliefs of the populace. The Federation of Russia had failed them, the Soviets had failed them, and no one dared to give the neo-Fascists and neo-Nazis a chance - supporting the crown and the church was the only choice for many.

Tens of thousands of men, women, and teens would take to the streets; waving flags of the Russian Empire, banners of the Greater Motherland Party and the Monarchist Party of Russia, and flags of the coat of arms of the Romanov royal family. While Moscow itself remained relatively free of protests against the Federal government and rallies of pro-monarchists, the cities surrounding the capital were invested with them and it seemed that the more time passed the larger these protests and rallies grew.

The National Guard of Russia had been deployed throughout western Russia where the protests and rallies had gathered and they did their best to keep the peace and try to disperse the people. However, their efforts have yielded little. As such, it is rumored that Catherine III and President Putin may soon be holding a summit for their two governments to discuss a peaceful resolution to turn their full attention against the communists and far-left militants that have infested Siberia.

Turkish Ministry of National Defense Ankara, Turkey

Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, NIO Agency Director Hakan Fidan, and Chief of Turkish General Staff Doğan Güreş would meet in a secure room within the Ministry of National Defense HQ(several aides and 3 Members of the National Assembly would also be present).

Minister Akar would begin.

”Good Afternoon Fellow Ministers, I want to discuss the developing situation in the Former Russian Federation that as we all know has lead to massive upheaval of Local and National Governments in most of Russia. From local intelligence and Media reporting we have deduced that the Major Players include the Former Russian Federation, A northern Monarchist Separatist Faction, An Arab Southern Faction, and a Communist Siberian Break-off. We do not yet know the full extent of the Fracture but Russia as we know it has dissolved. From the Russian Media and the communications between the Russian Foreign Minister the Federalists seem to believe that they can handle the situation with military might as a sizable chunk of the Armed forces including the Baltic Fleet still remain under Russian control. However as proven with past Conflicts the Russian Government may have extreme difficulty dealing with and safely taking control of the break offs Without violence. From my own perspective and I’m sure some of yours as well I can only think that this will rapidly turn violent in the coming months from instability and a coming Civil war. Thats why I have brought you, Ministers of the Armed forces to this meeting. The Russians with all their Pride have already declined a Turkish offer to send Peacekeepers into the still Federalist Portions of Russia and with this we have no say in what will and will not happen. I worry that spillover is guaranteed and that we could be dealing with a huge Refugee crisis to add to the already thousands coming from Africa To Turkey in order to begin new lives in Europe.”

Chief of Turkish General Staff Güreş would speak

”I Understand the Situation Minister Akar and I also agree that I can only see bloodshed come from this separation of Russia Which has always been in Turmoil but not to this extent. I believe that we must demand an immediate emergency GA session in order to seek permission to land Ground forces in Russia. Now this of course would be no offensive but if approved I think we should send the International Turkish Foreign Support Group and Anti Terror Unit backed up with additional equipment from the Turkish Army and emergency supplies to the Citizens in Southern Russia(Caucus Region). My special Concern is the reported Caucasus Emirate which will be an immediate target by the Russian Government due to its small size and likely weak defensive forces. I think our best option would to send our FASU units into the Emirate along with a Powership vessel carrying supplies to the People who likely are without power and water since the network is part of the Larger Western Russian Group. Turkey should be able to Defend fellow Muslims and we cannot let the Russians oppress a potential new ally of Turkey, not to mention prevent a massacre of the Muslim people.”

NIO Agency Director Hakan Fidan would add on to Commanders Güreş’s statement

”Having no say in military matters I must add that we have been monitoring the situation since day one, from our local Intel the Grey Wolves and potential other Terrorist groups may be supporting the Emirate. This could cause a serious issue if the GA were to find this information and it could lead to Turkey having support forces Rejected and therefore chaos could continue.”

Minister Akar

”I don’t know if an deployment into the Emirate would be the best, we could extremely anger the Russians and it could damage bilateral relations in a way I don’t think would be reparable. On the Other Hand Turkey does minimal Trade with Russia and Relations are in a way nonexistent as Turkey was a member of the former NATO alliance just a few years ago before its breakup. A deployment would also have to get a over 50% vote in the General Assembly but I think that is perfectly achievable as the President has already discussed with me that he would be keen to support a Muslim Nation inside Eastern Europe as long as the Nation would have serious influence by the Turkish Government. The GA though is the biggest challenge if we were to go through with this, we would have to gain majority of the GA’s support and show them that Turkey only wants to protect and assist the people of the Caucus Emirate and nothing more. Since Russia is a GA member, the Caucus Emirate technically is not part of Russia or at least has no government control, and that Turkey would be “Assisting in Peacekeeping and Humanitarian Duties”, I think we could succeed In getting our forces inside the Emirate. Afterwards we can begin a proccess of legitimatizing the Emirate and showing that the region has more stability by itself and that it never belonged to Russia in the First place Since it cant even control the region and has no support from the people. More information on this portion will come soon but I think a priority will be to contact the Emirate‘s leaders to discuss military, Finacial, and other support.“

Chief of Turkish General Staff Güreş

”I agree with this assessment and I think a good first step is to secure the surrounding area, this includes International waters and Airspace. The Northern Fleet will be alerted and will look out for any suspicious activity related to the Separation. I think its in our best interest to close off the straits to the Russian Navy as well, but only if hostile action is taken against the separatists Which would allow for a good reason to close off the strait. Commercial Air Traffic will be halted to Russia and Flights redirected as necessary around the whole of Russian AIrspace unless absolutely nescary, we don’t want a commercial airliner being mistaken for a military aircraft... I will authorize the Deployment of our AWACS aircraft to the Black Sea and to look for any Military vessels or civilian vessels that are potentially disguised. The Coast Guard will be put on Alert for any refugees and the 1st Fleet support vessels will be put onto alert so that they can depart from their Ports as soon as possible. The rest will be left to the diplomats I suppose Which better not screw anything up for us And lead to an incident to occur...”

Minister Akar

“Good, I will alert the necessary authorities and the PM.“
Technicalities and other minor aspects would be discussed for the next hour with the Group leaving and the Rest of the Ministers of the Government given a situation report.

The Turkish Air Force Embraer R-99A EMB 145 AEW&C would be deployed and the Northern Fleet put on Alert. Minister Akar would give the Minister of Foreign Affairs a copy of the conversation via a secure email so that information gained and discussed could be appropriately discussed with other Nations when necessary.

SITUATION REPORT
PRIVATE AND ENCRYPTED

Current DTR:
22/05/1999

Location:
Ural Region, Caucasus Region, Siberia, Far-Eastern Russia, Tuvan Republic

Incident Report:
Ongoing

Size and Scope:
Nation-wide. Hundreds of thousands of hostiles. Millions of victims.

Overall Hazard:

EXTREME
Report:

URAL REGION. Conflict between the newly formed Russian Empire and the Far-Left Militants occurred around the city of Perm in March 1999. Full-out war was declared shortly after. Progress into Siberia has been slow due to the militants' strongholds throughout the Ural Mountains but the territory and strategic locations captured by the Russian Empire has been steady and the militants' numbers continue to dwindle, alongside their support. Border patrol along the Russian-Siberian has been increased due to the large amount of refugees fleeing into European Russia.

FAR-EASTERN RUSSIA. Shortly following the conflict between the Militants and the Russian Empire, the Far-Eastern Resistance entered open conflict with the Militants. The Militants' number far greater than the Resistance and the Militants have gained large amounts of territory from the Resistance, only the area near Vladivostok and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast have remained free of occupation. With imminent full-occupation in sight, the Resistance's navy has fled Vladivostok and returned to Imperial waters. The Resistance continues their struggle against the Militants but their fall is inevitable.

TUVAN REPUBLIC. The self-declared Tuvan Republic was the first 'state' to fall to internal conflict. The Militants rushed into the territory in full force and have occupied the region. However, the Tuvans are not a people to so easily give up and have continued their resistance in their capital of Kyzyl.

CAUCASUS REGION. The 'Caucasus Emirate' continues to exist and their occupied territories have remained under aggressively forced Sharia Law. The Russian settlements and citizens around the Caucasus region have suffered further and further attacks from the Islamic extremists. The most recent attack would be the apartment building bombing in the city of Volgodonsk, killing 17 people and injuring 69.

Deep in the frozen soil in the Far East, the stubbornness of resistance stands firm...
THE FAR EASTERN RESISTANCE

The black flag of Eurasia, what was once a glorified Ultranationalist symbol that instilled vigor and hope to those to see a unified Eurasia, flutters against a white backdrop of snow. Vladivostok, the capital of those who call themselves "Free" has not yet fallen, and a handful of proud Ultranationalist and even Fascist Russians stand firm against the Communists to the North. Over the past few days, the Far Eastern Resistance has been building up for a counter-attack to the North, but even then, soldiers from within their ranks are doubtful of its success.

The rule in Vladivostok was rather... fragile. After all, there is a reason why they didn't call themselves a State, but rather as a resistance. The Far Eastern Resistance, while seemingly a collective group all unified against the uprising Far-Left Militants to the North, is in actuality, a fragmented group of Neo-Fascists, Ultranationalists, and Insane Idealists. Numerous parties disagreed with one another, some operating independently, while others deserted and escaped while there was still time. The only thing that kept them from killing each other, was the looming threat of the Leftists invading them from the North. The frontlines, for now, remain still. Of course, there was the occasional skirmish between the scouts sent out from both sides, but there was no major military action from either faction.

Grigory was merely 16 years old when he was called to service. A slender man wearing all black, with the Eurasian Insignia proudly on the collars of his jacket had picked him out of the crowd just days ago. He was called upon to "Defend the bastion of Freedom and Resist against the Communist Cockroaches to the North," whatever that means. Before long he had his hair shaved, uniform measured and tailored, and a gun and a helmet assigned. He was walking around his designated patrol path, dusting white snow from the Eurasian Insignia on his shoulder when he spotted something moving in the distance.

It was hard to see what it was exactly, but nonetheless, he readied his rifle and began to approach slowly. Making sure to remember the "training" that he got. He slowly approached the figure in the distance, making sure that he was moving inch by inch, and from cover to cover. He aimed down his rifle's sights as he inches closer. His hands were now trembling, was it the cold air or the thought that he was going to kill another human being?

Before he could even identify the figure in front of him, he hears a booming voice from behind him.

"GRIGORY, THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?"

Grigory instinctively hunched, startled by his Squad Leader's voice. He closes his eyes as he expects a beating, sure enough, the large hands of the old man grabbed him by his collar as he was dragged to the figure in front of him. He peeks through his eyelids, to discover that it was another Resistance Member just taking a short bathroom break in the woods.

"PRIVATE."

The man quickly zips up his pants and faces the officer behind him.

"Y-Yes sir!"

"DID YOU KNOW THAT YOU WERE GOING TO BE SHOT BY THIS IDIOT HERE?"

Ashamed, Grigory tried to hide his face as he was dragged back to his camp, where a proper disciplinary action was waiting for him. This was the life of your average Eurasian Youth. Being sent to the frontlines to bolster their forces, and to shorten their lifespans.

"Sir, with all due respect, I believe that we should start preparing the City for the inevitable siege, it wouldn't be long until the Leftists and the Monarchists would grow tired of fighting, when that time comes, the Leftists would surely restart their push form the North."

"I agree sir, an offensive would be suicide, those men are better suited here, defending the city to the last man. If they are going to take Vladivostok, we need to let them pay for it dearly."

The two officers stand in front of Vladimir Zhirinovsky's desk as Zhirinovsky ponders on the hopelessness of the situation. He would rub his eyes as he thinks of the situation at hand, before responding back.

"How long until our food supplies would last?"

"It is projected sir that we'd last for 3 to 4 months at best"

"What about weapons, equipment, ammunition?"

"With the losses we had from the past few weeks, we have about 100 Artillery Pieces, most of our trucks have been destroyed, and there are about 50 to 100 Armored Personnel Carriers available, most of which are damaged. We managed to capture 5 damaged tanks from the leftists, but even then sir, we do not have the equipment nor the parts to repair them, sir."

"Along with this sir, our ammunition is slowly dwindling, the stores we have would probably last two weeks of constant fighting. An assault would deplete the remaining bullets and shells that we have left."

"And you two are confident that you'd get the Eurasians and the Rodina to cooperate with us?"

"Well, we figure-"

"Let me stop you right there. The only thing that maintains this fragile peace between us and them is our love for Russia. It is a great dishonor to see these ancient and outdated ideologies of Imperialist idiots and Leftist morons pop up once more. Where have we all gone wrong?!"

Zhirinovsky would take a sip of water nearby, before continuing.

"What would they think if we, the Liberal Democratic Party, would tell them that we need to fall back? To basically let the enemy take land and to prepare for the inevitable? They'd have us hanged on the streets of Vladivostok, labeled as traitors to the Rodina."

The two officers would remain firm and silent.

"Let me tell you, we are not pulling from the front. The only way to victory is forward. Best keep it that way. Dismissed."

In a small cafe in Vladivostok, Valeri was sipping a cup of coffee when the radio suddenly bursts to life to a rendition of Patrioticheskaya Pesnya. He pays the shopkeeper the bill for his coffee as he heads outside to a nearby alleyway that led to a hidden pub. He approaches the man standing guard, "Slav'sya, slav'sya, rodina-Rossiya" he muttered. He was allowed entry into the pub, where images of Ultranationalism were rife. Men were heard shouting "LONG LIVE FREE RUSSIA, DOWN WITH THE TRAITORS! LONG LIVE FREE RUSSIA, LONG LIVE OUR MOTHERLAND."

A man would then stand on top of one of the tables, seemingly drunk.

"WE ARE THE FREE PEOPLE OF RUSSIA, WE ARE RUSSIANS!"

The entire room would cheer with nationalistic fervor as Valeri finds a vacant seat. Behind the speaker was the Russian flag, with the logo of the Rodina party on the center of it. He would listen in to what the man had to offer.

"THE IMPERIALIST DOGS, BLINDED BY THEIR LUST FOR POWER HAVE TARNISHED AND DESTROYED THE CULTURE OF RUSSIA, DOWN WITH THE TZAR!"

The room once again erupts into cheers of "LONG LIVE OUR MOTHERLAND"

"THE LEFTIST SCUM, HAS PILLAGED AND RAPED OUR GLORIOUS NATION AND AIMS TO MAKE ALL OF US POOR AND SLAVES TO THEIR SO-CALLED IDEOLOGY, A FACTORY WITH OUR NATION AS ITS WORKERS. RUSSIA IS NO FACTORY, RUSSIA IS OUR HOMELAND"

The room erupts to even louder chants of "LONG LIVE OUR MOTHERLAND" some of the men inside were now standing, raising their fists and their drinks up high

"DOWN WITH THE TRAITORS, AND ARISE, MY FELLOW MEN, ARISE YOU TRUE HEROES, YOU TRUE CITIZENS OF A FREE RUSSIA, FREE FROM SLAVERY FROM THE ELITES, FREE FROM SLAVERY TO AN OPPRESSIVE IDEOLOGY. ARISE MY FELLOW RUSSIANS!"

Most of the room was now filled with cheers as men stand raising their fists up high, one of them started singing Patrioticheskaya pesnya with lyrics made by Viktor Radugin, and before long, the room was filled with the voices of those who yearn "true freedom" and the essence of beer and vodka. Valeri smiles as he walks to a red door, knocking it twice before entering. He would find a man inside, watching television in what seems to be a small office.

"Can I help you?" The man asks without looking at Valeri.

"My family, Avksentiy. It's Valeri."

Avksentiy would look at Valeri from top to bottom. He would then sigh and turn off the television as he turns his attention to the young man.

"You told me a week ago that you'd smuggle them out from the Jewish Oblast and into Manchuria, can I ask for any updates?"

"Listen, Valeri, I don't send men into the Jewish Autonomous Oblast and back frequently, at least not as often when we still had the advantage. The Jewish Oblast is separated from the rest of the Resistance by quite a long distance, and it would be very dangerous to trek into enemy territory"

"So you're telling me you don't know?"

"It's not that I don't know, it's more so that I'm still waiting for the courier and his party to return."

"And how long will that take?"

"They should arrive soon, tomorrow morning perhaps. I'll then read their reports, and send them back with any additional orders we have from up high."

"I want to come with them."

Avksentiy's eyes would be wide open as Valeri muttered those words in front of him, he would lean forward onto his desk before replying.

"I promised your father that I will keep you safe, Valeri. And the only way I could keep you safe is to keep you here in Vladivostok. I don't care about what you do within the city, for as long as you remain here."

"Give me the chance Avksentiy, I'll come with them and meet up with mother."

"Your father would not allow it."

"He would if he was still here. And I know that he will let me be with mother again."

The room would be filled with silence, with only the muffled sounds of the chaos of ultranationalist zeal slightly seeping into the walls of the small room. Before long, Avksentiy would stand up from his desk, move on over to a safe from the far side of the room, punch in the code, and open it. Inside, would be an envelop full of money, a small handgun, and two magazines. He would approach Valeri and put the items on top of the desk.

"You'll need these. I know you're probably planning to leave the Resistance once you get there, so that's why I included the Rubles. When the party arrives tomorrow, I'll tell them you're a new recruit. Go with them and meet your mother in the Oblast, find a man named Yevdokim Gena Voronin, bring your mother and your sister with you to him. He'll do the rest."

"Thank you, uncle."

"I didn't tell you anything."

THE SIEGE OF TYUMEN
Iraq-Mosul-Hospital-ap-img.jpg

A destroyed apartment building at the center of Tyumen

For the past three months, the Imperial Russian forces have been combatting the communist terrorists along the Ural Mountain range, taking stronghold by stronghold. It wasn't until a month ago that the Russian military were able to break through the terrorist defenses in the southern ranges and were able to push through to the main headquarters of the communist terrorists: the city of Tyumen.

Following the Russian breakthrough, a two and a half week long siege of the city took place. It wasn't until yesterday that the terrorist forces broke and the Russian military re-took control of the city - a great victory for the Russian government. While the city took substantial damage during the fighting, civilian casualty and injuries have been said to be minimal. Various government and military camps have been installed around the city to act as both 'refugee camps' and field hospitals for the injured.

While the main terrorist leader, grandson of Joseph Stalin, Yevgeny Dzhugashvili was not found within the city (believed to have fled further into Siberia), commander of the 28th Army Vladimir Chirkin was captured by the Russia military and sources state that the 28th Army has surrendered to the Russian government.

Her Imperial Majesty Catherine III has offered a statement that was broadcasted worldwide: "It is with great joy and pride that I can announce that our brave men and women have liberated the city of Tyumen from the communist terrorists. Not only have they pushed the terrorists out of their main stronghold but they have also captured one of the highest ranking members of their leadership and have had hundreds of their militants surround their weapons to face justice. I urge all those who have taken up arms against Russia to do the same, the longer you make our dearest Motherland bleed - the greater the crime. Let it end... That is all, thank you."

RUSSIA REGAINS WESTERN SIBERIA; TERRORISTS FALL TO IN-FIGHTING
1562220418-omsk-news_item_slider-t1562220418.jpg

Omsk, the sight of in-fighting

For roughly twenty days now, the Imperial Russian Forces have been gruelingly pushing deeper and deeper into Siberia in the hopes of capturing the terrorist leader: Yevgeny Dzhugashvili. While various terrorist forces remain in strongholds throughout the Ural Mountains, the Imperial Forces have had success in routing the terrorists from other territories and surrounding the mountain range - denying the terrorists from resupplying. Reports state that the Imperial Forces have liberated territories as far as Tomsk Oblast and have pushed back the terrorists further than ever.

Until now, the terrorist forces seemed unbreakable and strong in their beliefs, however, reports following the liberation of the city of Tomsk would state otherwise. Omsk, serving as a headquarters for the terrorists, is said to have fallen to in-fighting and that terrorist forces were pushed from the Oblast entirely. Little is known about the group who seized control of the city other than being led by a man named Eduard Limonov and that they call themselves the National Bolsheviks.

With the liberation of Western Siberia, the cut-off of terrorist supplies in the Ural Mountains, the steadfast resistance shown by the defenders of Vladivostok, and the terrorists beginning to fight amongst themselves, the surrender of these terrorists seem to be all but inevitable. The only question now is: how long will it take?

TUVA LIBERATED; TERRORISTS RETREAT; VLADIVOSTOK IN-FIGHTING
qDfQRD9.jpg

Kyzyl, capital of Tannu Tuva

One week following the liberation of Western Siberia, the Russian forces began to push south on the retreating terrorist forces. They reached the republic of Tuva and its capital Kyzyl, liberating it from the siege that it had endured under the invading communist terrorists. Following the liberation, Tuvan and Russian have agreed to bring their forces together in the hopes of pushing the terrorists further east and bring them into capitalization.

Since the fall of Omsk and Tomsk, the terrorist forces have been quickly retreating further and further east into Siberia. It is rumored that their new headquarters is located somewhere in or around the city of Chita near the Mongolian border. The terrorist leader, Yevgeny Dzhugashvili, has continued to evade Russian capture but is thought to be losing more and more of his influence over the terrorist forces - the fall of Omsk being a perfect example of this belief.

As the terrorist forces continue to eastwards, more National Bolshevik forces have been spotted raising violent protests throughout Vladivostok and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast - fighting against the communist terrorists and the neo-fascists of the region. While the National Bolsheviks of Omsk are led by Eduard Limonov it is unknown who is leading the National Bolsheviks of the Vladivostok region.

Civil War Over: Terrorists Surrender, Tuva Rejoins Russia, Insurgencies Continue
mRJEDdX.jpg

Celebrations in Moscow

Yesterday Imperial Russian forces captured the city of Yakutsk, the last stronghold used by the communist terrorists as a center of operations. With the capture of the city came the surrender and arrest of various terrorist leaders including: Yevgeny Dzhugashvili (leader of the terrorists), Ivan Melnikov, Viktor Anpilov, and Maxim Suraykin. With their surrender came the surrender of the majority of terrorist forces, including both military and militia forces. However, while these terrorists have surrendered there still remains two high-profile terrorists leading an insurgency within the Ural Mountains: Maksim Shevchenko and Gennady Zyuganov.

Insurgencies also continue in the city of Omsk and Valdivostok under the National Bolsheviks and in the south the Chechens continue their inhumane actions in the Caucasus region. The people of Tuva, however, have put down their weapons and have been in talks with the Russian Empire to rejoin the federation as an autonomous republic.

With the official end of the civil war and open conflict, celebrations have been held throughout the Empire - the biggest of which has taken place in Moscow. Her Imperial Highness Catherine III and her government have announced that a federal election would take place to form a new parliament once things have settled. Until then, the rebuilding of the nation and distribution of justice shall take place.

Sakha Wilderness, Verkhoyansk Mountain Range, July 1999

The night had been cold, as usual for the city of Yakutsk, and the helicopter barely kept her fingertips from numbing as they flew into the Sakha wilderness. The young Tsarina didn’t know the exact location of their destination, but perhaps that was for the best for she knew who was awaiting her there and what was going to take place.

It took roughly an hour and a half for them to begin descending. In that time, the rays of the morning sun glittered over the horizon and warmed her cheeks as they pierced through the glass of the helicopter’s doors. It had seemed like forever now that she had felt any sort of warmth, it was… divine.

Eventually she was able to lay her eyes on their destination. It was a small clearing among the trees of the wilderness, caressed by the Verkhoyansk mountains. It was difficult to see the details from the air but Catherine was able to notice a number of vehicles and roughly a dozen people. But the most noticeable feature was the large hole that had been dug into the ground.

As the helicopter landed in the clearing adrenaline shot through her body and fear took hold.

“Are you ready?” Asked the man seated across from her.

Catherine took a moment to answer. She wondered if they had ever felt afraid. Was Peter the Great afraid when he dragged Russia into the modern age and fought wars to secure its power? Was Alexander II afraid when he risked the wrath of the Russian nobility to better the lives of his people? Of course they had been, fear was natural, but they overcame it because they had to. They turned their fear into a chisel and it formed the marble of which they were made. Whatever came of this day, Catherine had to overcome it, she had to be a Tsarina - the leader the Russian people had sought for for generations.

“Yes.” She finally said and together they left the vehicle.

As they approached the hole in the ground, the surroundings had become more clear. There were men bound and gagged, kneeling with their backs to the pit. Even with the cloth covering their eyes, she could recognize them from the news and government reports: leaders of the communist terrorists and among them their leader, Yevgeny Dzhugashvili. The other men were high-ranking officers of the Federal Security Service, among them was Nikolai Patrushev, its Deputy Director.

It was Patrushev who would greet them first. “Your Imperial Highness,” he bowed low to her, “Your Excellency,” he greeted the man who exited the helicopter beside her before gesturing to the prisoners. “These are the ones we spoke of, all the high ranking leaders of the terrorists that we were able to capture. Although, I’m still unsure why you wished to see this, Your Imperial Highness, it’s not a pretty thing.”

“If I wanted pretty things I would have stayed in America.” Her reply was sharp. “I ordered this. It’s only right that I be here to witness it.” Catherine nodded towards Dzhugashvili. “Ungag him and take off his blindfold.”

The officers of the FSS were quick to appease her. The terrorist blinked a few times before speaking. “You.” Stalin’s grandson looked at the man beside her. Anger and disgust were in his gaze. “You were one of us, Putin, you served the people - the Union! But you would do anything for power and wealth, wouldn’t you? Traitorous snake!” The man would then change his gaze to the woman. “Ah, the Romanov. Ironic that it comes to this. To die at the order of a replicant of old - a tyrant, an oppressor of the people! A lazy little bitch who sat upon a comfy chair in the warmth of a palace as her people died and starved in the streets, leaving the hard work to the ‘servants’.”

Catherine’s fear turned into anger at his words and the shaking of her hands were becoming unbearable. Through instinct she hid them into the pockets of her shacket. It was then her fingers brushed against the metal of the small pistol she had been given at the start of the war. She squeezed her fingers around its grip as the man continued to spew his words of hypocrisy and hatred.

“My grand-father should have hunted down your family like the pigs they are! Hung you all off the--” The man groaned in pain as the woods echoed from the crack of two consecutive gunshots and he fell into the pit with a dry thud.

In Catherine’s hand was the culprit, her fingers squeezed around it with such force that they had turned white. There was a sudden silence around the clearing, as though it was not only her in disbelief. Had she really done it? Had she just killed a man? The thought turned her stomach and made her nausea and her head felt as though it was about to float away but she couldn’t bring herself to move.

It was Putin who had to snap her from her shock, placing his hand on hers he lowered the pistol and only told her two words. “Remember Ipatiev.”

Those two words seemed to rid the shock from her almost instantly and filled her with the vigor of a thousand men. She looked down at the dying man in the pit. “Let him bleed, bury him alive if you have to. Kill the rest.” Her voice was as loud and clear as that of God himself. “And erase this event from your minds.”

“Yes, Your Imperial Highness.” The men bowed their heads and as Putin led her back to the helicopter she could hear the pleas of the terrorists and the gunshots that silenced them.
