Brazil - Message to Israel

Brazilian President Victor Romero plops into his office chair and lets out a sigh, out of breath after a vigorous jog. His checks some reports on his iMac desktop. A minute later a secretary brings in a tray with a pot of fresh coffee and light breakfast of fruit and a hard-boiled egg.

He checks with his Army adjutant to make sure his message will be encrypted and when he is cleared he begins to bang away at his keyboard.

Greetings Mr. Prime Minister. I wish nothing but peace and prosperity for your country under your stout leadership.

Immediately upon assuming the office I made Israeli/Brazilian ties absolutely paramount. We immediately purchased over 2 Billion dollars in Israeli weapons systems from Namer APC's to Iron Dome systems to Super Dvora Mk III-class patrol boats.

We also have economic plans we have for the future.

If you knew in the first letter, then why not state what you said in the first response? Brazil is not close to Israel? How could you decide so after one letter? I sincerely apologize for offending you for bringing up previous ties and hoping to reignite new ones. I wish you the best.

Benjamin just shook his head, then got on with more paperwork after deleting the recent Brazilian email as it mean nothing and was just pointless in being sent
