It has been rare that our countries have spoken and I hope to change that.

I have been charged with changing this.

Brazil would like open a trade route, or several if possible. We are acutely interested in your pharmaceuticals, organic chemicals, and optical technical apparatus.

Brazil can offer ethanol fuel, iron ore, raw sugar and poultry meat.

We have two large ports, one in Rio de Janero and one in Fortezela.

I look forward to hearing from you soon and that a deal can be worked out, both our countries economic interests and the promotion of friendlier ties between our countries.

It is a long story. It began when Brazil had a diplomatic dispute with a third party country which France was close with. They decided to leave Brazil immediately, where we were having talks with some of their official's. After a temporary delay on Rio, the French official's were allowed to leave.

The French then told us to close their embassy in Paris, which we did. However, we were told by the French that they could not guarantee our safety at the time due to the the Yellow vest movement. Even though it is was their responsibility to protect our diplomat s under GA law,, they refused too, even though we did the same thing for them in Rio.

After a few weeks of captivity, the Argentinian government attempted to extract our diplomats. The French police arrested them (I guess at that point they did have the power to control the Yellow Vest movement, but it was something we were never in formed of).

After another two weeks of captivity the French informed us our diplomats could leave, but we would need to arrange for our own extraction. After a month in captivity, the fear was to great and the thought of of arranging their own extraction in a city that had been hostile for four weeks, the Brazilian diplomats simply said they were too afraid and asked to try for a diplomatic solution.

Argentina arranged with the French s deal; a former apology by my President in exchange for the release of the hostages.

My President apologized to the French people.

The French government reneged on their promise and just some time later threatened to behead the Brazilian diplomats.

Diplomatic attempts failed twice.

This is why the Brazilian President made the the decision to
occupy, not invade, the capital of Guiana. We didn't need to invade as the French had no troops stationed in Guiana.

Brazilian troops never fired shot and we're in the capital barely 24 hours, as oppossed to the 2 months of captivity my diplomats had to endure.

This decision prompted the immediate release of my diplomats and just as quickly my troops pulled out of the capital of Guiana.

This how the mess in France unfolded.

As for Germany, they saw an opportunity when the French attacked our embassy to do so as well.
And they have us no verbal or written warning. One morning several dozen armoured cars and hundreds of soldiers surrounded the embassy in Berlin.

Fortunately, diplomacy worked in this instance, as after the Kaiser saw our apology to the French, he decided to let our hostages go. We are still paying them reparations to this due to the damage done to the embassy and the hurt feelings of the German people.

I hope this explains the events as best as possible. And to make one thing clear, we harbor no ill will towards the people our countries of Europe.

These we're just two unfortunate incidents.

And since the fiascos of the Berlin Embassy Siege, and the Brazilian hostage crisis; both of those governments have already been replaced by their own people.

Perhaps, Brazil was not the bad guy after all.
