The import and export of goods is essential to the continued growth of Sweden and as such this is absolutely something worth discussing in talks to come. Whilst I am not the expert with military equipment, I can certainly begin the discussion regarding the sale of military assets, however I must inform you that Sweden enforced very strict resale regulations and you must be able to provide a full and complete history of each aircraft, this can be discussed in more depth with our Ministry of Defence.

As far as the JAS Gripen A fighters that we currently posses, it was in our legal right to produce them given the government in Sweden was either, unstable or absent at the time. But after a review of our defense forces we do not feel the Gripen A is suitable for our defense responsibilities, so that is why we are offering to sell them to at the fixed price with no mark up.

As far as trade, as, has been stated, we would be interested in opening trade routes Vehicles and Machinery. Please take a look at what Brazil is offering for export and then we can work on Ports and which products we would like to open for trade.

With the Saab JAS 39A Gripen being of significant age, the first of which rolling off production lines in 1995/96, this asset would be of no use to the Swedish Air Force and would end up being resold or disposed of for national security reasons. Models currently in operation within the SAF complete production in the early 21st century.

As a result, I would be willing to purchase these aircraft however with the age of aircraft, reduction in valuable technology and the second-hand status of the aircraft - Sweden around be looking to buy these aircraft at around $1.8bil to $2bil. I am however willing to negotiate a fair deal for both parties.

I apologise for my inability to develop trade routes, that is not within my remit.. I look forward to your response.

Upon review we acknowledge that we have addressed our correspondence to the wrong person, I’m sure you can appreciate with our recent appointment as the incumbent government we have a huge amount of outgoing correspondence, I can only apologise for the confusion on our end.

However, despite the despicable actions of previous Swedish government, the threats to our national security have been treated with the upmost seriousness and referred onwards for investigation - Saab have acknowledged our request and halted production of the Gripen range.
