"Reroute. The Hague can wait. Fly us back to Brazil."

The flight clears take off.

The ATC at Ronald Reagan would notice that the Brazillian Aircraft would go the complete opposite direction of where they needed to go. Infact, the aircraft would turn directly towards South America. Fearing the worst, alarm bells (not literal) would be ringing inside the Tower as it could be highly potential that the aircraft has been hijacked. Alert messages would be sent out to all ATC of all major airports on the east coast, including those of the USAF, that a possible hijacking had been undertaken. The presumed flight plans would be sent to all ATC also. The information would be received by Tyndall Air Force Base in Florida. As the flight came closer to Florida, it would be picked up by the ATC in Tyndall. Soon after that, an alarm (this time a real one) would blare out across the base. "Scramble! Scramble! Scramble!" and it wouldn't be long before two of the Quick Reaction F-16s would be taking off from the runway, each would be armed with: 1 × 20 mm (0.787 in) M61A1 Vulcan 6-barrel rotary cannon, fully loaded, 6 × AIM-120 AMRAAM. As they take off, they'd receive information about the aircraft and the possible situation.

It wouldn't be long before the aircraft catch up with the Embarer, each F-16 would approach from opposite sides. One of them attempting to open a radio-link with the cockpit. "Embarer bearing 1-4-8 from intercepting aircraft, respond, over."
