"Hello this is Minister Gujral with the Ministry of External Affairs here in India. I am calling to get some clarification on the recent events happening in Bangladesh. Our Ministry of Defence has shut the borders down between our countries, and I do not wish this to continue for long. Also do to the news that we have received, I have ordered the Embassies and Missions to be closed and for all staff to return home until further notice. Once I can deem it is safe in Bangladesh, I shall return our Embassy and Mission staff. This is more of a curtesy call however, I wanted to inform your government that all crossings of the border are herby prohibited, only Indian Nationals are being allowed entry from Bangladesh, all others are being detained, processed, and extradited. If you do have any updates on the current situation at Shapla Square, Dhaka however, it would be very helpful. I do wish to continue peaceful negotiations, and help in any way I can assist."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mustafizur Rahman would be updated that their was a call coming in from India. He answered.

"Hello, Minister Rahman here." He paused. "I have heard that the borders have been closed. It is...interesting news indeed." He'd pause once more. "Currently, their are three areas of the capital that have been under a number of incidents.

"This is most troubling indeed. I have ordered an evacuation of our Embassies and Missions in Bangladesh. I hope to re-open them soon. However I must have them remain closed until further notice. I have no control over the borders I am afraid. The Department of Defence has closed them and has tasked Eastern Command with securing the border. I do hope that this is temporary. If there is anyway India can assist please let me know and I will bring any request through the proper channels. India is no stranger to unconventional violence. How is the situation as of now?"

"The situation is under control currently. But I will leave that decision to yourselves, if you feel it is beneficial to keep borders closed."

"We will begin to reopen our Embassy, and return our staff. With the situation under control, I will speak to the Minister of Defence on reopening the boarders. I am sorry this may have caused a divide. One of my top priorities is to establish a healthy relationship with Bangladesh and I feel this may have divided us even more. I know our countries have not seen eye to eye in the past, but I hope to build a better future between our nations.

Once everything is cleared up I wanted to discuss the boarder more in depth. Currently as you are aware, we each have small enclaves behind each other's territory. I wanted to discuss drawing a more suitable and fixed line to define our countries."
