The Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, would pick up the phone at 24 Sussex Drive. He would make himself a cup of coffee and would ring the French Government on a encrypted and secure line, trying to get throughout to whomever was available in this obviously busy time. The only people in the room would be his National Security Advisor.

The phone would ring.

President of the French Republic
TOP SECRET & ENCRYPTED(LEVEL X)- Encrypted By General Directorate for External Security
French Republic, Honorable President Macron, would receive a phone call from his Canadian counterpart. The call is encrypted and Secret Call. French President would check the room to make sure that no one is snooping in. He would place in two armed guard. Upon getting green signal from Directorate-General for External Security, the call is full encrypted and top secret.

"Hello Prime Minister Trudeau, this is President Macron."

Encrypted and Private.

"Well I'm surprised you managed to pick up, surely you're a bit busy right now? As I understand you're probably gearing up for conflict with Argentina and I want to say you have Canada's full support. Our main concern right now is the Territory of Saint Pierre and Miquelon. Now we understand in our previous meeting we asked you to tone down the presence there. What presence do you currently have? We need to make sure we have a unified force ready to defend those islands. There is no way in HELL we would let Argentina invade it and get a foothold right next door to Canada. We cannot let that happen. This is as much an absolute imperative to France's national security as it is Canada's. We will bring this matter up with the United States as well. We also have concerns that your territories in French Guyana and the Caribbean will fall probably as well. In fact I feel French Guyana is inevitable. Canada and hopefully the United States will stand ready to defend French interests in the Americas.

So yes, back to the original question. What are your assets in Saint Pierre and Miquelon? We will deploy immediately additional forces under Operation Limpid to defend the islands. You have full permission to dock at Canadian Naval Bases in Halifax and St. John's to refuel and do what you need to do. Canadian armaments are also are your disposal, just contact the base ordnance commanders."

"Thank you for call during this time. We currently have 2 FREMM-class frigates, 2 NH90 NFH Helo along with 500 personnel are stationed there. We need your support to defend these territories. French Guiana is the key interest of the South American region, we can't single handed battle against Argentina and Brazil. We need your support. In the meantime, please contact United States and we will refuel our ships at both of these naval bases. We will contact Ordnance commanders.

We have launched the Operation Blunder and we are giving you the full access to our operation."

The Prime Minister would cover the phone, considering France agreed to tone it down in the territory.

"Lying bastards."

He would go back to speaking to the President. This time in French as the Prime Minister was fluent.

"Okay well, if you could get those FREMM-class frigates deployed in and around the islands. You have permission to go into Canadian territorial waters if need be. We will deploy our Navy very shortly. Do you wish for the land forces there to be bolstered? We can deploy french-speaking battalions from Quebec there so they can interact wih the local forces. Our Air Force will also be on standby in New Brunswick now that we just received our order of 200 Hornets. We're not sure about our capacity to send forces to French Guiana, we will be in contact with the U.S. about that."

"French Fremm-class frigates are currently stationed there and so that would not be a problem. Please deploy your land assets immediately. I wish you could help us in French Guiana matter, we sincerely hope that contacting US would be crucial. Please contact US now, we need support."

"Sir, I know this is a very anxious time for you, but please keep a level head. You're speaking very tensely and we need to discuss these matters in depth and with a bit more coherence. We will begin an operation shortly, please do not panic."

"We should set up a joint communications line, so you can consolidate what I assume is your talks with your other allies."
