Dear Secretary Towse, I am writing this email to hopefully be able to acquire some equipment from yourselves. From my understanding from the files we have, Great Britain and Canada have had a strong past and strong relations to this day. It has come to my attention to help fit the needs of the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) that they require some particular pieces of equipment from your nation that you may or may not have in service. Attached is a document of the short list of equipment that we require and hopefully can agree on a price for these said pieces of equipment. Attachment #1 [16] Mk10 Landing Craft (Mk.10 LCU) or the Landing Craft Vehicle Personnel (LCVP) [250] Husky Armoured Patrol Vehicle I look forward to a reply, Mr. David P. Dear Mr. David P. Willbanks,

Thank you for contacting the Ministry of Defence.

We would be happy to support the progressive build up of the Canadian armed Forces and would be content to review any requests for equipment. Each is considered on a case-by-case basis and in line with the regulations set out by the British Government. I have assessed the requirement of the Mk 10 LCU and Husky Patrol Vehicles and can confirm these are something we would be willing to export. Please find the costings below:

Mk10 Landing Craft: 980,000.00/per
Husky Patrol Vehicle: 967,000.00/per

To conclude the totals:
16 Mk10 Landing Crafts: 15,680,000
250 Husky Patrol Vehicles: 241,750,000.00
plus VAT.

Total for the full lot, including VAT: 277,430,000.00

If this is something you'd like to go ahead with, please transfer the total funds and we will begin production.
