Public Release of Data and Call for International Investigations​

In light of the Canadian accusations, and recognizing the need for international oversight as well as in preparation for the case the Empire of France intends to bring to the International Court of Justice for Canada's crimes of aggression, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, the Empress has authorized and ordered the immediate declassification of all information relating to the Oriflamme Society, its members, the shipment under the High Kingdom of France (to which the Empire of France is not related or a successor), and the evidence as well as witness statements showing that said shipment was intercepted by the Canadian government. The Empire of France would declassify any and all data relating to Canadian efforts to discuss this matter with France, but no such data exists as Canada never attempted to bring the matter to our attention.

The Empress hopes that the release of this data will show to the world once and for all that France is not guilty of any crimes.

Furthermore, the Empress welcomes any foreign investigative agency to come and investigate the evidence in Paris. We have already authorized the USA's FBI and Japan's police services, and welcome any other nation to investigate the evidence and interrogate the suspects in our custody. Furthermore, we have invited the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Poland in particular. As the Federal Republic of Germany has indicated it has launched its own investigation, we hereby also invite them to send agents to Paris. All agents sent will enjoy diplomatic immunity in performing their duties and enjoy full unredacted access to any topics relevant to the investigation.

Conclusion of the Canadian War of Aggression​

Following communications between the governments of the Empire of France and the Kingdom of Canada, the latter has agreed to peace and an agreement has been reached.

All Canadian forces will withdraw from any sovereign territory of the Empire of France, France considers the matter settled and will not pursue any reparations or a case before the International Court of Justice. No terms besides the full restoration of the status quo ante bellum.

The Empress is satisfied that peace has returned to all of the Empire. She acknowledges the calls from the people most affected seeking to punish the Canadians for their aggression, but she asks people to keep in mind that the Canadian people have also suffered and that while the Empire of France holds no responsibility for the terrorist attacks it ultimately were weapons manufactured on French territory that were used. While she especially regrets the loss of life, she emphasizes that the complete removal of Canadians from French territory was the most that could have been achieved even through open warfare and that a peace without further loss of life is the best for everyone.

The Empire of France will cover any damage experienced by citizens and repair any damaged infrastructure, whether by the actions of Canada or the Maquis. The Imperial Armed Forces will deploy ground, air, and naval forces to the western territories to deter any future aggression.

Today France is finally at peace, may the spectre of war be far removed from us.
