[China] Democracy Fails, Communism Prevails

Across various cities in China, people were discontented and angry with how the new democracy was acting in the world stage, especially the president and how weakly he was acting on Vietnamese and allegedly Australian threats. How before, during the PRC days, China was respected and not the laughing stock in today's world. And this inner flame was being stoked, by Communist Party sympathizers, throwing propaganda and fake news targeting the young democracy and how it turned a once great nation into a weak one, faking reports about how the democracy forged the terrible things the past communist rule did, and how it was all staged. And more and more people would be drawn to this communist propaganda, fake news and fake reports. And the Communist sympathizers would see more and more support towards their cause.

More people in various cities would be calling to dispose of the Government and re-elect Xi Jinping going to the extremes as to try and release him from his home arrest. Grabbing this opportunity Xi Jinping would criticise the government ways and how the country was once again being sold to foreign powers.

The current President knowing that this was a silent minority, would issue a call for a referendum, as to secure his power and democracy in China, however to his dismay the referendum. With only two questions, "Continue with a Democratic Government with new Elections or a Communist Government with Capitalistic Ideas" and the population would vote overwhelmingly on the latter.

Xi Jinping would however vow to not arrest or persecute or dismiss government officials or anyone associated with the Democratic Party. And would go so far as to allow most of them to remain in the Parliament, to the surprise of most people which would only bring in more support towards his Presidency. The Previous constitution would be reinstated, as well as most previous symbols and songs.

The People's Republic of China... would return.
