Official Statement

Official Statement

The Foreign Office of The Republic of Ireland (Èire) acting upon the orders of the current administration in Dublin, has decided to announce the closure of its embassies in Madrid, Abuja, and Stockholm with the intention of beginning the orderly departure of its officials from Spain, Sweden, Nigeria within 42 hours time.

Irish nationals travelling or residing in Spain, Sweden, and Nigeria are advised to take the necessary precautions so as to ensure their safe departure from their host country and return to Èire as soon as possible. Those choosing to remain on Spanish, Swedish, and Nigerian soil may do so albeit with the understanding that the foreign office and the Government of Èire are not responsible for their fate or any consequences thar may result from their courses of action.

The decision to close the embassies in Madrid, Abuja, and Stockholm was carried out as a direct result of these countries condemnation of Èire's attempt at asserting her sovereignty over territory occupied by foreign entities at the expense of fellow Irishmen and women.

With this in mind, The Foreign Office shall give diplomatic personnel of Spain, Sweden, and Nigeria a period not exceeding 42 hours to conduct their departure from Dublin and the closure of its embassy and various consulates throughout Èire.

These foreign Nationals shall be allowed to come and go as they so please. Those wishing to continue their residency in Èire will be required to register with the office of immigration and customs as well as the Garda Síochána, apart from that all civil liberties currently guaranteed by the constitution of Èire and enjoyed by said nationals residing in Èire shall remain unhindered.

Those engaging in provocative displays or criminal activity shall have their residency declared null and void prior to being given a hearing before the High Court of Èire resulting in either a sentence not exceeding 5 years followed up by deportation or instant deportion from Irish soil. Assets of those responsible shall be seized and withheld prior to deportation. A payment of £30,000 shall be required in order to have said assets restored to their original owner and finally, the offender will be required to sign a document forbidding them to set foot on Irish soil again hereafter. These actions shall be enforced by Garda Síochána along with the Defense Forces of Èire.

Signed
Gerald Monahan, Foreign Minister of Èire

The Foreign Minister would rub her temple, frustrated that the Irish Government has decided to do this again.

The Canadian Government would announce that Irish citizens in Spain, Nigeria and Sweden would be able to access consular assistance from the Canadian Embassy in Stockholm, the Canadian Embassy in Madrid or Consulates in Barcelona or Malaga and the Canadian High Commission in Abuja, Deputy High Commission in Lagos or Consulate in Port Harcourt.

The Canadian Government would also allow those diplomatic staff being ejected from Ireland to be able to return home onboard the Royal Canadian Air Force CC-150 Polaris aircraft currently at Dublin International Airport transporting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The Kingdom of Sweden, despite only hoping for European unity and not intentionally disrespecting the actions and/or decisions of the Irish, now publicly condemns this action and a short statement has been released:

"I has become abundantly clear that Éire take direct and aggressive action against any nation that disagrees with their politics, this is nothing short of dangerous and inconsiderate. Their action has left thousands of Spanish, Nigerian, British, Swedish and even Irish nationals fearing that they will be unable to return home from family holidays, work experience, extended visits, tourism, sporting events and an unimaginably long list of other activities - we'd like to acknowledge and thank the Canadian Government for the continuous support for an essential diplomatic operations and we encourage any person stuck abroad, regardless of nationality, to visit either a Swedish or Canadian established Diplomatic Mission in Éire for the necessary legal and logistical support to return to your home country. With this in mind, we will be ceasing all Diplomatic Missions within Éire within the next 14 days, you should ensure you have the necessary means to return to your home country as soon as practicable."
- Bureau for European Affairs, Department for Foreign Affairs, Kingdom of Sweden

The Bureau for European Affairs has requested to provide a small number of diplomatic staff to the Canadian missions in order to provide support for Swedish nationals with their particular area of expertise naturally being their home country. In addition to this, a Security Alert has been raised for Éire.

The Kingdom of Spain has condemned the actions of the Republic of Ireland and has issued an 'Advise against all travel' warning to all Spanish citizens travelling to Ireland in the coming months and have informed all Spanish citizens living or conducting tourism in Ireland to leave by the safest means necessary.

Secretly, Guardia Civil agents would conduct surveillance in plain clothes and would blend in near the Irish embassy and any consulates to monitor the activity of Irish diplomats and agents as they exited the country.

The Spanish Ambassador to Ireland and other diplomats from consulates would all meet up at Dublin International Airport and would return to Madrid on an Iberia Express flight. All documents would be thrown into a furnace and all hard drives would be destroyed beyond repair and burned in the furnace.

When asked by reporters after he left his office at the GA later in the evening about the recent events and comments made by European powers,

"I will say this. When our embassy was held siege in two countries within its foothold, why did not ISAF or any other European government intervene in any way, especially with a volatile situation right on their borders?

Complaining about family holidays, work experience, extended visits, tourism, sporting events etcetera, but say nothing about hostage taking and terrorism? Sorry, I do not understand their line of thinking and never will."

The ISAF Secretary General made a statement directed to the Brazilian Government:

"There seems to be a consistent problem of countries having the expectation that the Independent States Allied Force has an obligation to intervene in events happening on the other side of the world, or to be the police force that handles situations. I would just like to inform the Brazilian Government that ISAF is a military alliance that focuses on defence.. that defence is of our existing members. We do not intervene in every situation, especially regional conflict unless it is seen as a direct threat to a member of the alliance or unless the ISAF Council has agreed a need to assist a party that has requested help. A Brazilian Embassy under a judicial hold in France is not an international crisis but a mere problem between communication of two parties and would not warrant military intervention by ISAF."

"A mere problem between communication of two parties, well that is an interesting take on past events," says Juan Valdez, Brazilian representative to the GA when speaking with reporters now in in his office.

"I would surmise most have forgotten the Iran-Pakistan War. ISAF members took sides in that war when it was a mere communication problem between two countries. ISAF even formed a coalition of non-allied ISAF members like Turkey and Germany, and comically almost South Africa, to attack Iran when it was evidently clear that Iran was provoked by Pakistan.

"Perhaps history will look so kindly on Brazil for our future transgressions or endeavors which other countries may deem unredeemable, and most others agree are reprehensible. But Brazil is not allowed that kind of leverage ISAF is.

But not for much longer."

“Why is it nations such as Brazil decide to attack an organisation when it doesn’t come to their side? As stated numerous times the Independent States of Allied Forces only get involved in situations that they are requested to do so and only by the Authorisation of their council.

ISAF isn’t a world police, people need to stop acting like it is and man up and deal with their own situations. Just like Britain is dealing with its own situation. They haven’t involved ISAF and I can’t see them involving ISAF due to being able to hold their own.

Furthermore the Federal Republic of Germany condemns all actions taken by the Eire Government in relation to the situation and from this, we have recalled all embassy staff from Ireland. We also condemn the attacks on the Canadian delegation in Ireland and condemn the Eire Government for not protecting political leaders.”

With the statement released, the German Embassy staff would begin shredding and destroying all materials in the embassy before heading back to Germany. Ireland would also be placed as a Reconsider your need to travel advisory

The Dutch government would politely remind Brazil that ISAF only became involved after Iran launched an ICMB strike on major Dutch cities resulting in civilian casualties.
The Netherlands furthermore requests nations to ensure the information they spread is accurate as they have the ability to influence the course of the world.

Brazil representative Juan Valdez when hearing of the statement from the Dutch would also point out that a weak GA lead by ISAF powers enabled Pakistan to attack Iran and for Germany and Turkey to join in the fray, well, and laughably South Africa's attempt to intervene.

And, I'll stop you, "ISAF is not the GA."

I do recall sometime ago the GA Director kicked every representative from every other country in the world for the sole reason of talking to the United States and the United Kingdom in private.

Everybody knows that the dice are loaded. Stop kidding yourself."

The Government of Èire would release a statement on the matter of Germany severing diplomatic ties and presenting a scaving criticism against Èire.

"We are use to expecting such irrational bouts of dishonesty and cunning from the German for he is a briton with a massive appetite...they are also masters of hyprocrisy in that they condem Ireland for asserting herself as a sovereign entity yet have no problems trying to justify their own historical madness on similar grounds....instead they remain spineless and afraid of their own shadow how unfortunate it is that we have no pity for the bestial wastes. "

Irish nationals would be advised to leave Germany as soon as possible and return home, the assitance of Canada would be requested to make such an event a reality.

With the Irish Embassy in Madrid now closed, the order was given by the Minister of the Interior to send in police units to collect anything that had been left at the embassy, since their was no post about taking documents with them back to Dublin, all documents, folders and electronics would be seized and placed into evidence bags to be taken back to local stations to be reviewed and examined at a later date. Each officer had a body camera on so that if anything happened, they had evidence to back themselves up.

Once the property was declared secure, it would be handed to the City Council of Madrid who would put the building up for rent.
