Elements of the 5th Infantry regiment would begin to change out their standard jungle and field camouflage uniforms and helmets with white digital camouflage uniforms. Their weapons would be painted white, and they would strap black armbands around their biceps. In the additional storage space afforded in the aircraft, they would bring extra stretchers, medical supplies, compact rations, and water stores. The first troops to be sent overseas would be a combination of medics and officers. Few riflemen would be among them. They would load onto the CN-235s. The Transport Aircraft would take off, destined for Dhmi Tekirdag Corlu Airport in Turkey. The route taken would be:

KJ>KK>KL>KM

The flight should take about 3 hours, accounting for the fact that the flight begins in the middle of KJ sector and ends in the middle of the KM sector.

ROLEPLAY NOTICE

Hello Kelly the Mad ,

There are a few issues with your post #2.

1. It does not meet the mandatory 80 word minimum for roleplay posts.
2. During military operations you must use the Transit Map to state the route used by your troops and calculate your travel time. You cannot just arrive somewhere as you did in post #2.

Please edit your post to meet these requirements before continuing this roleplay. Please note the OOC travel time counts from the time of edit so everyone has sufficient time to reply.

The CN-235s would arrive over Dhmi Tekirdag Corlu Airport, and request clearance to land. Upon receiving approval and landing on the runway, the passengers would quickly disembark and unload all of their essential equipment. Their stunning white digital camouflage would be stark against the black tarmac and the dirty color of the ground and grass around them. Their rifles would be held high and loaded, just in case of an emergency. They would march out to around (41.102734748058026, 28.13128875739364), in a field between Celtik and the Jewish detention center. The 250 men would begin to lay down basic necessities, digging out campfires, latrines, tent pitching locations, storage locations for food, ammo and water, and would set up medical tents, permitted the Turkish did not object. The CN-235s would continue back to the Congo and would perform repeat transport missions until all 5,000 members of the regiment had been settled at the camp, which would take about five days. The camp would be bustling, all 5,000 Infantry having arrived alongside extra supplies. Medics would bear white helmets, combatants black, and volunteers blue. This would be in addition to the medics and combatants white military uniform and the volunteers white bulletproof vests and other protective equipment.

A small group of men would approach the detention camp holding the detained Jewish minority of Turkey, likely by now having received all Jews that would be detained. The quantity of Jews would drastically overcrowd the prison system and complicate the running of it for the roughly 180 personnel assigned to the prison. The complicated series of metal detectors and retina scanners would be overloaded, backing up lines to enter the complex significantly.

The peacekeepers would quickly pass by the line. Among them were four medics and six combatants, based on their helmets. The combatants also carried their rifles. The combatant at the lead would halt in front of the outside guard.

“I am lieutenant colonel Lafayette with the first company of the 5th Infantry regiment of the Imperial state of the Congo. I have been commanded under my Colonel, in pursuit of our peacekeeping mission, to inspect these quarters for basic human rights violations. We request immediate and unrestricted access to all cells herein.“

Since the Congolese had landed a significant portion of the Jews had been sent via Otokar ZPT to a separate E-Type Prison in East Istanbul, now the prison handled only around 9,000 Jews in Total, 1,000 below the maximum. Before the Congolese arrived the Gendarmerie had come around the prison with G3 Rifles threatening death to prisoners and their families if they spoke ill of their conditions. In fact a single Officer from the Istanbul region would be outside each cell block monitoring activities. The Jews would be given games and other recreational activities a mere 30 minutes before the Congolese arrived, they were also escorted to the mess hall by 50 soldiers to eat food that was catered in from a local Restaurant. By the time the Congolese started to enter the prison things looked much better than they did a day before, children played in the yard under supervision(Forced to) and conditions were above average for any prison and certainly those in the Congo. In fact it was considered that the Congolese officers would disregard many deficiencies considering their own prisons were essentially hell holes Filled to the brim with inmates but here things looked like paradise. Additionally an execution of a talkative Jew had the previous day occurred in the yard and their were blood stains but this was washed off and the body burned elsewhere.

Major General Aksoy of the Gendarmerie would stand in front the lieutenant colonel in ceremonial uniform and guarded by two lower ranking officers. He would speak in English And gesture to shake hands with the Congolese man.

”Welcome Lieutenant colonel Lafayette to the Silviri Detention complex, I am Major General Aksoy of the Gendarmerie, we are tasked with carrying out duties here at the largest institution of it’s kind in the republic. I am the temporary warden of this faculty due to the complex nature of our detainees, and most of the prison staff have been replaced by the Gendarmerie since we may be dealing with spies and also the fact that a major portion of the population wishes these people dead. We have been tasked with temporarily holding these people for the next few months Until things die down. You can feel free to check all of out facilities, would you mind if I accompanied you for the tour?”

Kelly the Mad

Meanwhile the 6th Gendarmerie Combat Battalion would arrive to the Congolese base and provide supplies for the troops while also setting up their own joint command base as well in order to prepare a possible movement of Congolese troops south towards Israel. In fact a C-5 Galaxy Transport would land at Istanbul airport ready to transport the Congolese to the south ASAP.

Lafayette would accept his guide, and begin touring the grounds. It was obvious in the eyes and faces of the people, as well as their reclusive and non talkative behavior that they were shocked in some way, though that could be attributed to being removed from their normal lives.

“If you will excuse me Lieutenant Colonel, I would like to take a handful of these captives back to my camp with me for interviewing. After this we will return them. As well as this, I am looking to send more investigators to your other prisons holding these Jewish people, as it is apparent the population our sources have reported is not present in this camp alone.

The necessity to place them within such a high security prison as this one seems to us to be an over precaution, but regardless, we need a secure one on one conversation with multiple inmates here. It is simply a requirement of our mission to ensure they are treated properly.

Aside from this conversation, a medic who can speak both Turkish and French would communicate via a notepad and pencil with a child in the yards, making sure that they were outside of the close view of the guard. The medic would write down what he gathered in French so that none of the guards would be capable of reading it over his shoulder. He would take these terrifying words from the child directly to Lafayette, taking him aside before the lieutenant colonel would return to the conversation, awaiting the Turks response.

While the Congolese guard thought that he was not being monitored, as previously stated there were massive security measures and the Congolese would certainly be seen when they talked to the child. The child would be marked for review and it would be radioed in to command and then to Major General Aksoy That the Congolese were speaking to a child and that they were writing down information.

The General Would respond.

”I’m afraid some of the estimates of the number of Jews are wrong, this is the primary detention camp within Turkey as many Jews fled the nation due to orders by the Israeli Government. I must also advise you that many of the people here are very resentful of our detention and will say anything they can to disparage us but as you can see the facility is not even at capacity and the people of the center look healthy and well. It is truly a shame that these actions had to be taken but it was absolutely Neccary for us to do this as I’ve explained.”

The Congolese General would be led outside where he would be directed to take an Armored Otokar ZPT to a hotel of his choice in the area for his accommodations. He could also stay with his men who were under the observation of the Major General’s own men who were stationed nearby and discreetly monitoring the Congolese Actions.

Meanwhile secretly and under the cover of darkness the remaining 19,000 Jews would be transported Nationwide to the İmralı prison, a maximum security institution on an island within the Marmara Region. The Prison would be guarded by 500 personnel of the 5th Gendarmerie Combat Battalion and the prison would be packed to the brim with Jews and Israeli descendants who had likely not eaten in over 48 hours. Cells would be essentially human blocks with more people than the building ever should of had. People would scream through the first night as 47 inmates on the first night would die from dehydration. Essentially the Prison was Hell. This would be a massive secret and it was made sure that few would know about this utter atrocity. As far as anyone knew these people had simply disappeared.

Lieutenant Colonel Lafayette would refuse the car, and insist on taking a number of inmates with him back to his camp, which would likely be denied. Upon returning back to the camp, the soldiers would closely watch the Turks who had set up alongside their own camp. Defensive measures would be built over the cover of night- light minefields, trenches, and sniper posts. Despite the Turks attempt to have it done in secret, it would be immensely difficult to disguise the many thousands of Jews transported first from the nearby prison in broad daylight, as the Congolese troops made their landings and established their camp, as well as from the different detention centers. After just a little while of asking around, locals would be able to identify the direction that the hundreds upon hundreds of military armored cars would have moved in to transport the Jews. As for identifying where they eventually ended up after the night transportation from the other prisons, this would be significantly harder to discern, but a handful of men would be charged with investigating this. For the moment, Lafayette reported back to Colonel De La Fontaine, and he put his soldiers on full alert. Patrols and watchmen would be on duty at all times. Anything that the Congolese did not want the Turks to hear, regarding the treatment of the Jews and their buildup of defenses, would be spoken in the soldiers local language (Swahili, Kongo, Lingala, Luba) and in hushed tones. Official correspondence would be heavily encrypted by the regiments communications staff before being sent back to the Congo. The peacekeeper prepared to launch their mission.

The Request would be accepted, and several Jews picked by the General would be escorted to the Congolese Encampment for likely inspection by the Congolese Peacekeepers. Secretly these were actually MIT agents deployed in disguise to monitor the situation within the prison periodically and they were prepared to act as if they were in fine conditions and there was nothing wrong with the Prison.

Late into the night guards would march into the holding area and seize the child who wrote the message along with the child’s family(Two parents and Infant) to enforce the rules that the child clearly broke when they spoke to the Congolese. Secretly they would be thrown into the back of a mobile prison cell within a Otokar ZPT(Unarmed) and driven a mile away to a local forest. Here they would be thrown out by several guards and an officer and told to stand in front of trees where they would be shot dead with silencers one by one. Their bodies would be thrown into a ditch and covered with a loose amount of topsoil and the trees would be stained red with their blood. This would also be done to two other inmates in the night would were complaining to guards about the conditions and their supposed rights. After this first night of executions the inmates stayed silent the next day, wearing blue jumpsuits and red jumpsuits to determine if they were Jews or of Israeli Decent.

Prisoners within the prison would be treated well due to the presence of the Congolese though elsewhere things were much different. The Congolese would also be notified that the large prescience of armored transport vehicles was due to these vehicles returning to their posts and not to transport the Jews to another location As some locals may have been mistaken. In fact after this the area Was cordoned off to prevent locals interacting with the Congolese soldiers as it might be dangerous to be around all of this firepower.

The Congo would refuse these pre-picked prisoners. With Turkey not answering plainly his request, Lafayette would leave the prison.

With this cordon only now being enforced, and not stated previously, the peacekeepers would have little belief in the Turks claims. What horrified them more, however, was when multiple gunshots rang out very clearly in the winter night just over a mile away from the Congos camp. A punctuating silence was heard between each bullet. One by one, six bullets sounded out into the ears of the peacekeeping sentries.

150 of these peacekeepers would immediately kit up and, armed with flashlights, sweep the area that the gunshots came from. For all they knew, this could be a terrorist attack by Jewish or Kurdish people in retaliation against the Turkish government. By the time the soldiers had arrived at the forest, it was likely the Turkish army had already left, but they found the blood dripping off of the bark of the trees where the Jews had been executed. Exhuming the bodies from the obvious nearby loose dirt, the shocked men would put the bodies onto stretchers and bring them back to camp under tarps. Once there, the medic who had talked to the child identified him as a detained Jew from the nearby prison who had informed him about the horrid conditions. He also identified the family who had been around him, but was unable to identify the other two. This shocking realization shook the mens faith in the Turkish regime. Photographic and dna evidence would be taken and shipped back on the Congos own planes or sent back via encrypted lines. Now, the entire camp would be up in arms, particularly dismayed by the discovery of the infant. All men would be awakened and armed, their weapons readied and tense.

Colonel De La Fontaine would personally phone the Emperor. After listening to him, the Emperor would leave with his personal guard for the port housing his private yacht. After acquiring clearance from the port authority, he would set out for the Congo following the Samroute that had gotten him there.

The Infantry would have silencers on their G3 Rifles and therefore the Congolese would hear nothing of the gunshots in the distance, additionally they may of heard some screams but this was very very unlikely. The Major General would be in a tent nearby with binoculars secretly monitoring any Congolese moves, also the soldiers would be guarding the area where the executions took place.

The General would also call the 1st Motorized Infantry Brigade Kesan to secure the area and provide additional security, they would set up a temporary base of operations around the Prison and prevent any further Congolese from entering, in fact they now outnumbered the Congolese troops. This increase in security would be explained as a Necessary precaution to ensure the safety of the prisoners.

The 1st Motorized Infantry Brigade being over 50 miles away, it would likely take several hours to be fully armed, fueled, and for it to make its way to the prison. The Congolese regiment, however, being just a few hundred feet from the prison, was quick to act on their colonels orders: for the safety of the Jewish civilians, seize the prison. Substantial evidence pointing towards Turkeys abuse and killing of innocents had been provided, and his executive order was to quickly occupy this building using as little force as necessary.

The 1st company would approach from the buildings front, while the remaining 4 would come in from the West, breaking down the prisons outer fences and entering the premises fully armed. The soldiers would avoid to their best ability firing upon the 1,000 Gendarme stationed in and around the complex, but if fired upon they would return fire. Any directives to halt their breaking into the complex would be refused or ignored. All information at the Congo’s camp would either be disposed of or carried along with the soldiers. Lieutenant-Colonel Lafayette would lead his company against the front gates, while Colonel De La Fontaine would lead the remainder of the troops through the fences to the West.

once the perimeter had been breeched, Companies 1 & 2 would clear through the entire complex, searching for staff and soldiers to detain and checking on the Jews within. Companies 3, 4 & 5 would begin setting up external defenses inside of the prisons fence line. Shallow firing trenches, basic landmines, and setting up machine gun and rpg nests within the watchtowers and high up roofs of the buildings. Cameras would be turned on and would record the testimonies of Jews who had been temporarily liberated. The Congolese soldiers would keep the Jews within the building and within their cells, knowing that the Turks would respond with force. Any extra food and water they could spare would be handed out. Guards keys would be taken and stored with the Colonel, and the Jews would be able to lock their cells from the inside, a feature of the prison, to keep them safe.

This was an act of war that was completely unexpected and was going to be the worst decision the Congolese General Ever decided to do in his lifetime. The Turkish War room would be activated and the National Alert level would be increased to AS5 or Imminent conflict. The Gendarmerie soldiers were at first extremely confused and then angry to know that these African filth dared try to take their Prison. Gunshots would ring out throughout the Prison as the Gendarmerie Soldiers fired warning shots into the air at the ground towards the Congolese As they rushed the prison. Additionally Otokar ZPTs would begin firing into the air near the entrance as the Congolese beasts ran in.
They would quickly evacuate the Prison as it became clear that this was indeed an invasion on sovereign Turkish soil and the Major General would be astonished by the rash and unexplainable actions of the Congolese Armed Forces. He would radio in to all Infantry On a secure line.

”All forces retreat outside the Prison! DO NOT FIRE ON CONGOLESE TROOPS UNLESS ORDERED TO OR THREATENED! We will regroup outside the entrance and further instructions will be sent to you shortly!“

He would also call the Air Force

“We have lost control of the Prison! I say again we have lost control of the prison and are requesting immediate air support at my location now! I need 5th “phantom” Squadron and 497th Attack Helicopter Squadron here ASAP so we can deal with this, I‘m sending a fax now with detailed information.“

As they watched the Turks mass outside of the grounds, the Congolese troops psyched themselves up for the potential combat ahead of them. They knew in their hearts that they were in the right, and fighting for the liberation of these oppressed people. Heavy weapons squads would set up machine guns and RPG nests, as well as a select few mortar positions. From behind cover infantry would watch the backs of their comrades as they layer down stretched of anti-personnel mines and barbed wire. Most of the troops crowded in the halls of the prison complex, checking equipment, saying prayers, writing their final words in case the inconsiderate Turks were to take them out in a rain of fire. Many had thought that this deployment would be all smiles and sunshine, a gesture of friendship. Now, their country and they Emperor, God Bless Him, were in precarious situations that were not likely to remedy themselves.

Sentries would be on alert 24/7. Encrypted updates would be sent to the Palace of the People every ten minutes. Cameras were constantly running. Men prepared for the worst.

Military Deployments would be near completion after a long day of preparations and military movements, in fact almost all twenty thousand personnel now were deployed outside of the prison and ready to engage in imminent combat if the Congolese Chose to attack, most troops were in the nearby coastal town with only 10,000 personnel currently surrounding the prison and ready to fie, this would decrease the overcrowding element and allow for better offensive operations. Sandbags and Riot Control Barricades had been set up as defenses to prevent a possible swarm of Congolese or prisoners from overrunning a particular position and radios and command tens had been stationed to the east.
The Eurocopter Tiger HAD would at this point now have landed at a temporary airstrip/field for the helicopters and they were ready for immediate deployment within five minutes of any conflict. The two F-4 Phantoms would fly into Tekirdağ Çorlu Airport nearby and be refilled and ready to depart from the airstrip within 10 minututes notification.
Civilians within a 8 mile radius would be evacuated due to the risk of a potential armed conflict breaking out.
Now the Turks would wait out the Congolese.

A loudspeaker would be set up only a few hundred feet from the Prison and a French Translator would be called in from Istanbul to speak based on a script given to him by the Ministry of Defense.

”Congolese! We give you one hour to exit unarmed and in an orderly fashion or be annihilated. Exit Calmly and we can guarantee your safety and security as well as a direct flight back to the Congo. If you choose to stay within the Complex we will annihilate you without mercy, we have also enforce a communications blackout, you will not be able to speak with the outside world(Cell Towers and Satélites had been shut off, causing an outage for two million Turks in the area but preventing the Congolese from any further communication to their superiors. We can also guarantee the saftey of the Emperor if you all decide to come out in the manner mentioned.“

He would repeat this two more times in French, as the night grew near The Turkish would fire flares into the open field around the Priosn and set up spotlights shining directly into the Congolese Soldier‘s eyes. If they did not retreat out of the Prison they would be destroyed in a single sift blow.

Meanwhile the F-4 Phantoms would begin takeoff procedures and be fully refueled and configured for ground attack on the Congolese Troops. This would all be secret and only known to select parties within Turkey.

Using a loudspeaker of his own, Colonel De La Fontaine would walk out into the open yard, and call out to those surrounding them.

“We are here to protect the lives of these innocent peoples you have so blatantly abused. We will not leave these premises. We will not fire unless fired upon. We will serve our duties as peacekeepers until the very end. Our Emperor ordered us here, he would not have us let these thousands die just for his own convenience- he is nothing like your “president”. We Will Not back down.”

After his speech, he would return to the prisons walls. The Turks would be unable to shut down the hundreds of communications satellites located around the equator, meaning that the Congo’s satellite phones could still easily relay information back to the capital and Australia. Among these information relays would be

1. Number of Jews within the complex
2. Number of Congolese within the complex
3. Threats made by surrounding Turks
4. Turks spotted amassed outside of the complex
