The Embassy of the Russian Federation presents its compliments to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Colombia and, in light of the tragic terrorist attack that occurred this morning in Bogotá, wishes to express its deepest condolences to the people and government of Colombia. The Russian Federation is profoundly saddened by the loss of innocent lives in this senseless act of violence. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families, as well as with the Colombian people during this difficult time. We are particularly moved by the loss of public servants, including Member of Parliament Alonso Mingo, who tragically perished in the attack. This brutal act of terror, which struck at the heart of Colombia’s capital, is an attack on the values of peace, democracy, and respect for human life. The Russian Federation unequivocally condemns all forms of terrorism, particularly when it is used as a means to achieve political objectives. The targeting of civilians, regardless of political affiliation, is reprehensible and unjustifiable. We stand in solidarity with Colombia in its efforts to combat political violence and terrorism, and we express our unwavering support for the country's pursuit of justice for the victims of this heinous act. In light of this tragedy, the Russian Federation wishes to extend its full support to the Republic of Colombia in any way necessary, including in the investigation and identification of those responsible for this atrocity. The Russian government is ready to assist in any form, whether through diplomatic, logistical, or technical means, to ensure that justice is swiftly served. Russia is ready to extend security cooperation with Colombia and support its security forces in developing the capabilities to best protect its nationals. Once again, the Embassy of the Russian Federation extends its deepest sympathies to the people of Colombia and offers its assistance in this moment of grief and resolve. The Chancellery of the Republic of Colombia warmly presents its profound compliments to the Embassy of the Russian Federation and expresses its most genuine gratitude for the heartfelt message of solidarity and condolences received in response to the attack at the capital this morning.

We share the Russian Federation's rejection of terrorism in all of its forms, and rest assured that justice will be dealt swiftly to the perpetrators of the horrid event. The Republic of Colombia welcomes the Russian Federation's offer of support and assistance in the investigation and in the pursuit of justice, taking note of your willingness to aid our security forces in the apprehension of those responsible. The Policía Nacional de Colombia, who is currently mid-investigation, will be notified of your government's willingness to provide assistance, and rest assured that our relevant authorities will assess the needs present before them.

To facilitate this process on behalf of the relevant authorities, may I ask if the Russian Embassy could kindly provide the proper channels or contact details of the appropriate Russian bodies, organizations, or representatives with whom our officials may coordinate should we decide to pursue this cooperation.
