FROM: Lambero Dini, Minister of Foreign Affairs, New Roman Empire

SUBJECT: Possible alliance

Dear Ambassador,

I write You today to inform You of our intentions to form an alliance between our two nations. The alliance will contain a trade deal, non-aggression pact, sharing of military and scientific technology and findings pact and obviously a pact to help each other in case of war.
I hope to receive a positive answer.

Sincerely,
Lamberto Dini
Minister of Foreign Affairs
New Roman Empire

Dear H.E. Minister Dini,

I hope this email finds you well and in good health. Thank you for your previous email. While the current administration believes a formal alliance between our nations would be premature, we would be happy to explore ways to advance our bilateral relationship.

We are interested in maintaining the prior agreements signed with previous governments of Italy over areas of trade and visa policies. We believe that trade is the best modem for relations between two countries. Additionally, as members of the Global Assembly, we have no current intentions of using force against the Roman Government. Our primary foreign policy efforts means multilateralism through our partners and allies such as Spain and the Global Assembly are the means by which we address our diplomatic issues. I hope this sentiment is shared by the new Government in Rome. On the issues of advancing Korean-Roman relations, the Republic of Korea hopes the Roman Government can explain its foreign policy goals for the Mediterranean, North Africa, and Asia region. While we are happy to expand security cooperation, technological sharing, and trade cooperation, we believe a formal alliance between Rome and Korea is an advanced step requiring mutual understanding of our interests, priorities, plans, and strategic interests. The door to future cooperation remains open, and we hope your Government will take this as a positive sign of future possibilities.

Signed with sincerity,
Kwon Hee-seog
