Minister,
As part of the new egyptian Administration, I would like to formally greet you and establish communications between our two nations. India is a regional and global actor and it is our intention to improve the bilateral relation on a political level as well as increase the commercial exchange between our countries in order to seek prosperity for our populations.

My Government is invested in developing and constructing on Egypt's position as a hub nation between east and west and therefore we decided to adopt a position of neutrality, working towards improving bilateral relations worldwide, but abstaining ourselves from commiting to multilateral political alliances and organizations.

Considering this, we would be dleighted to investigate possibilities of future cooperation between India and Egypt.

Sincerely yours,

Sadiki Aswad
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Arab Republic of Egypt

Dearest Minister Aswad,

I am happy to hear from you and your government, India believes that Egypt is certainly the hub for trade on this side of the globe. Working together in some way would benefit our two nations greatly.

Perhaps the best way to begin our bilateral relations is to begin trade routes? The Empire of India exports the following: refined petroleum, precious gems, medicament, rice, and textiles. If I were to go by the list I'm looking at, India would be interested in importing the following from Egypt: crude petroleum and copper. You may send your ships to the port of Mumbai.

Kindest Regards,
Subrahmanyam Jaishankar
Minister of External Affairs
Empire of India

Minister Jaishankar,
We find it convenient to open the egyptian market for indian medicaments and precious gems. As for rice, textiles and petroleum, we have our own national have currently the local market rather sufficiently supplied with those. In return we would be more than willing to export crude petorleum and copper to India.

We could use the Port of Suez for these commercial routes, to avoid the additional fees of crossing the Suez Canal and to avoid any delays in the crossing. Monthly shipments should be proper.

If the Empire of India agrees with this, we could begin the paperwork.

Kind regards,

Sadiki Aswad
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Arab Republic of Egypt

Dearest Minister Aswad,

Wonderful, I will inform the Minister of Commerce and preparations shall be made to begin the exporting.

While we're at it, perhaps we should discuss the position of both of our nations further?

India and Egypt are both nations in geographically positive locations and in a close proximity to each other. Furthermore, neither of us are in this 'Global Assembly'. Perhaps it would be in both of our interests if we supported each other through our militaries and economy? Of course, I don't expect either of our nations to send their armed forces to defend each other, but perhaps joint-exercises, military sales, and even a free trade agreement could support Egypt and India in the long run?

Kindest Regards,
Subrahmanyam Jaishankar
Minister of External Affairs
Empire of India

Minister Jaishankar,

It is certainly good to know that there are nations out there that share some of our concerns in terms of foreign policy and the current state of international relations. One of the main reasons that led the Arab Republic of Egypt to refrain for the moment of becoming a Member of the Global Assembly is the lack of precision regarding the limits and ways that organization has in regard of intervening in our own internal affairs, especially regarding the International Court of Justice.

Our nation is currently focusing on our regional urgencies, both of internal development as well as external security threats. As for other nations, we are opting for a neutral position, where we establish fluid relationships with other capitals on a bilateral level, leaving aside the part of joining multinational organizations and alliances.

Considering this, we very much welcome India's offer to establish a priority bilateral relationship and opening the door to potential commercial, political, cultural and military cooperation agreements.

As for the previously mentioned commerce, we will submit the paperwork to open the new routes between Mumbai and Port Suez.

Kind regards,

Sadiki Aswad
Minister of Foreign Affairs
Arab Republic of Egypt
