Dear Minister Bonny, Let me extend to you and your Government the best regards from his Excellency Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, and the ethiopian people. The intention of this message is to address the current state of the bilateral relation between both of our nations. As mentioned during Prime Minister Ahmed's recent opening speech, the Federal Republic of Ethiopia allocates an important focus on developing diplomatic and economic relations with fellow african nations. It is our Governments believe that through cooperation and corodination, we might better serve our people in the pursue of long term sustainable development to bring our economies on par with those of more developed parts of the world. In consideration of this, we would like to schedule a high level meeting between the Heads of State of Nigeria and Ethiopia to look into the possibility of finding common grounds to work and build on.
