Minister, We would like to congratulate your Governments electoral sucess and look forward to see Germany once again as an relevant and active member of the international concert. We would like to address the pending equipment order set and paid for by the Federal Democratic Republic on Ethiopia on september 2003 (Proof of order), for which the total sum of 4,374,033,328.80$ has been transfered to and received by Germany (invoice). As to date, none of the equipment included in the contract have been delivered or its production been informed to have started. Considering your new government, Ethiopia is willing to draft a new delivery plan better suit Germany's finances. We look forward to work together on this matter. Dear Minister Mekonnen,

Thank for your email, in regards to your unfulfilled order. I would like to apologise for the mistake of the previous administration, unfortunately the NKfM company collapsed alongside anything to do with the previous administration and in doing so it will be with any finances including any successfully transferred

However, I cannot see if the transfer was successful other then it was accepted. (OOC: meaning invoiced and updated on MN's economy as last invoice updates were on the 14th and this transfer was on the 23rd) if this is incorrect, please provide evidence so I can look into it further.

If you so wish to proceed with this order, the Ministry of Defence are more then happy to proceed with this order upon successful transfer of finances and we will start production straight upon doing so.

Minister von der Leyen, We appreciate your swift response and attention to this matter of utter importance to us. We keep german industry and equipment in high regard, and are very itnerested in being able to go through with our order and being able to recieve the german vessels. The Ethiopian Minister of Finances did an inquiry on the status of our transfer and can confirm that the transfer order was set and accepted by Germany. The current issue is that apparently the processing and accreditation of the money is still pending due to "technical backlogs". For the moment we can confirm that the transfer order was locked and secured and is only pending the approval by the bank. (OOC: Admins haven't done invoicing since january). Minister von der Leyen, We have received confirmation from the banking system that the funds have been withdrawn from our account and transfered to Germany. If you can confirm reception, we look forward to production of the ordered equipment to start. Considering the delays, we would appreciated it the production could be done in a "staggered" manner, as to accelerate the final deliveries.
