Dear Secretary Margot Wallström, As my first point of call as the newly appointed President of the French Republic, I have decided that after the recent events that have occured in France that we make contact with our closest friends and European counterparts. I would like to hold a call with yourself or Prime Minister Löfven in the coming days so that I can reaffirm my country's relationship with the Kingdom of Sweden and hope that we can hold a long and prosperous relationship with our fellow European counterpart with approximately 15,000 Swedish nationals living in France and 3,500 French nationals living in Sweden.
