Your Excellency,
First of all I hope this message finds you well. As you know we met around two years ago where we agreed to the signing of a treaty on mutual defence. In the time since we have followed our internal procedures to ratify the treaty giving it legal force under French law. This message serves to notify you of this, I also would like to use this channel to ask on the status of ratification under the German procedure.
Thirdly, in case ratification has been concluded on both sides I would like to propose a meeting in Paris so that we may discuss the practicalities surrounding implementation of in particular provisions such as the Franco-German Brigade and the general direction of Franco-German relations in light of multiple ongoing international events.
