"Honourable Justices, thank you for your swift arrival. I would like to ask the court recorder to be gin the transcript from here on. For the transcript, I would like to point out that the African Justice, Madam Odili is currently on-leave, however our work shall continue. Furthermore I have been designated the leading Justice in this hearing by the Secretary-General" Justice Anne Cuijpers would say as opening statement.

"I am hereby calling the International Court of Justice to order. The first case we will be hearing today is ICJ case #001.A," Cuijpers would bang the gavel, loaned to her by Olhouser, "I would first like to ask for the members of the Bosnian delegation to the Global Assembly to be led in and seated." Seconds after her words had been spoken a side door opened, where all members of the Bosnian delegation to the Global Assembly, who had been arrested by British police and transferred to the ICJ Detention Centre located within Penitentiaire Inrichting Haaglanden, were led in by armed officers from the Royal Netherlands Constabulary 1 BSB Peleton. All detainees had previously been searched for weapons and are restrained in handcuffs, they would be seated at the defendant's table.

"The members of the Bosnian delegation have been accused of Endangerment at the Global Assembly. On the 23rd August, 2012 (26th September, 2018), the accused were responsible for arson by setting alight a small Turkish flag and unsafely disposing of it in a nearby wastebasket."

"I would like to give the floor to the defendants, to make their case."

One of the Bosniaks rose to make their case before the court. "Your honour, I concede that me and my fellow delegates are indeed responsible for endangering the assembly as a result of our haphazard protest against the actions of a foreign government. The intention on our part was to protest against the alleged killing of an entire family not far from a major airport. These alleged events were reported in The Sarajevo Times a month ago whether they were true or not has yet to be confirmed. If we endangered the assembly we sincerely apologize for our actions and would be more than able to pay for the damage."

Justice Olhouser sat forward in his chair and nodded. He spoke to the Bosnians, "So you acknowledge that the Bosnian delegation is guilty of what they were accused? If so, then I would like to propose a motion to Justice Cuijpers to allow us to discuss what penalty should be imposed, since no vote on guilt or innocence would be necessary."

Justice Cuijpers would look at each of the accused Bosnians, "Each one of you must state your stance, if a unanimous guilty plead is submitted, we shall proceed with discussing a punishment."

The other three Bosniaks thought for moment and came to the conclusion that they were indeed guilty of the charges.

Mehmet Grajnić, Defendent - "I agree with the charges being levied against my person before this court purtaining to the endangerment of this assembly.....I have nothing further to say, Your Honour."

Slavko Zelenić - "seeing as I was responsible for lightng the flag on fire I have no choice but to confess my guilty and therefore admit to tarnishing my homelands reputation abroad."

Alija Ďrujanović - "though I personally object to these charges on the grounds of their petty nature..it would be incredibily dishonest of me to plead not guilty therefore I admit my guilt."

"With no pleas of not guilty, the court hereby finds all the accussed guilty of endangerment at the Global Assembly and arson," Cuijpers would bang the gavel. "Now the court shall privately proceed with the discussion of punishement. Can the Marechaussee please return these gentlemen to temporary holding until they are asked for again." Officers would escort the guilty individuals back to a temporary holding cell within the building, the court room would also be cleared and guarded to ensure the following discussions remained private.

"I now open the floor to the disucssion of punishement for the crimes that the defendants have been found guilty of," Cuijpers would direct at her fellow Justices who were now free to speak in the privacy of the court room.

"The defendants show remorse and are clearly sorry," Olhouser said as he gestured through the group. "It was most likely premeditated, but no one was physically hurt. I would recommend that we have the Bosnian government pay a $10,000 fine and have the guilty individuals involved each sign a formal apology to the Turkish delegation for burning their national flag."
