The British Delegate for the GA, although later, attended and got caught up with the transcript of what had already been said before chipping in:
"Such proposal could cause some real problems, the British Government strongly believes that a nation should be responsible for their own financial dealings, the Global Assembly should not have the kind of power been proposed here to take the poor dealings of every country and business into its hands.. restricting this to countries eliminates the point of it, and allowing it to be used on private businesses would create ridiculous workload to manage any contracts that have financial implications. If a country deals with another, or a business, then that is their responsibility and should be dealt with by a national court, not an international forum such as the Global Assembly."
