German Nationalism Returns in Force
This afternoon, Germans flocked to the streets to greet the passage of their society from one chapter of history to the next, as Germany welcomes the political ascendancy of its new chancellor Wilhelm Eichwald a 46 year old politician belonging to the National People's Front (NVF); a far right national conservative party known for its anti immigrant views and emphasis upon traditionalism.
Having been subjected to a lifetime of uncertainty and division, Eichwald's party promises a return to economic growth, national unity, traditional family values, the rule of law, and a neutral foreign policy.
Chancellor Eichwald has been quoted as saying the following before a large crowd in Berlin:
"Let it be known to the world and Europe as a whole that Germany has arisen from her slumber. That she is once more in control of her destiny and confident in her place among the nations. That her people are tired of the old cliches and the madness that is the shame and sorrow of her past. That her people long to cast and break the weight of the chains, putting their faith in tomorrow. This tomorrow, will in time see the reclamation of the past and the fulfillment of its glory as embodied in the new nationalism."
Despite its rather vague and abstract nature, the German public has received the chancellors speech with great anticipation and thunderous applause.

Altshule Forms National Council in Berlin
This morning in Berlin, President Altshule announced that the Bundestag would be dissolved on the grounds that the existing legislative body's services to the German people and their respective Länder were no longer required. In its place, the government has decided to establish and convene the Nationalrat with a total of 300 members of which 200 shall be derived from existing political parties and the remainder from politically independent representatives of the Länder.
The Nationalrat is expected to convene its first session on November 20th of this year.

Memorandum on Germany's Foreign Policy Today

The German Reich desires a firm hand in securing a future for its people through the pursuit of peace and freedom.
The peace entails the triumph of realism and neutrality as the watchword of any committed democratic state. That the nations of the world are united by a commitment towards fraternal cooperation in defence of Christian civilization and national self determination. Being Opposed as they are to the onslaught of multiculturalism, neoliberalism, and geopolitical amalgamationalism which has eroded the foundations of national sovereignty and cultural identity. That Germany must secure its traditional borders and extend its arm of solidarity to its ethnic brethren. Guarding them from elements seeking their subtle and explicit demise.
Freedom entails that Germany and its people are not encumbered by the threat of interloping parties that seek to exploit the generosity of its own habitants and deprive them of their common birthright.
The State will as the servant of the German people act in a reasonable capacity to ensure that the current borders remain intact and that through negotiations a concentrated effort is made to restore the legitimacy of traditional borders while protecting minorities from the scourge of hegemonic acculturation and assimilation in nations beyond the boundaries of the Fatherland. Germany will not promote courses of action which may endanger it's sons and daughters tomorrow. Germany can and will promote for itself the cause of neutrality, abstaining from acts of provocation and aggression to preserve the balance of power upon which Germany's future glory rests.
