A Bourne Legacy

Residents across the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland shared grave concern for the recent announcement made by the Irish Government, a statement that could have drastic consequences for millions. It was a situation that should have been avoided but those within the Irish Government had already played their card... it was too late. Only a few hours ago, whilst a cloudy overcast grew over London, a declaration of war had been received which had ultimately put both Ireland and the United Kingdom in a state of conflict. Since this revelation, the British Cabinet have been putting together their own plans but a press statement was in order by the British Prime Minister himself. Stood patiently outside the House of Commons with a number of camera's aimed towards him. It was his first real rodeo when it came to a state of war, but he had a lot to live up to given the recent history of Britain whilst under Jamie Price. Now.. now it was Jericho's turn. Those surrounding him at his podium begun to quieten down, for a few moments, he maintained his silence before beginning to speak.

"This morning we received word from the Government of Ireland that they are opening a state of war with the United Kingdom.
We have supported certain military campaigns but Britain itself has not seen itself in a formal state of war since Prime Minister Price was in office; that was something I had hoped would remain.
It has become an unfortunate set of circumstances where we are now in the position we are in. A hostile, unjust decision to spark a war without considering the consequences that would follow, without considering the losses and without considering the needs of the many.

We have recently seen that the Irish Government has sought to expand with recent evidence that had, before today, indicates their intention to arm terrorists.. more specifically, the Irish Republican Army, simply to cause us 'trouble'.
This is something that the Brazilian Government, already recklessly desperate for war, supported and even proposed an oversea base in Ireland.

We are seeing a collective group of nations spreading their wings with the intention of causing as much destruction as possible with absolutely no thought for who will be affected.
My predecessor had set the foundation, and held onto that foundation, that Britain will not be bullied or threatened.
Mocked or insulted.
Most importantly, Britain would not stand aside.

Whilst we are happy to accept the imminent surrender of the Irish Government and whilst we would regret any physical conflict, Britain will fight."

There was a short pause from the Prime Minister who took a glass of water from the podium and sipped it, placing it down.

"That is what my predecessor would have said, inspiring as it was we need to be realistic in our expectations and I'm nothing but a realist.
Our opponent is the Irish Government, supported by Brazil without a doubt. But what does this mean?

Well ladies and gentlemen, this declaration of war was never going to be a fight. No no.
It was a predetermined victory for Britain and I look forward to seeing the Irish Government in person when they are ready to negotiate their surrender.." He stood down from the podium and the crowds called out, trying to ask questions or make comments on what had just happened.

KINGDOM OF NORWAY
OFFICE OF THE PRIME MINISTER
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The Kingdom of Norway offers its full support to the United Kingdom after this unwarranted declaration of war. The British have done nothing but acted in good faith and tolerated numerous provocations by the Irish government. Now, after several attempts to keep a state of peace in the British Isles, the Irish government has declared a state of war and invaded the United Kingdom. This is not acceptable.

Norway remains committed to our British ally and will render any aid necessary.

PRIME MINISTER

MEDIA RELEASE

The Australian Government stands firmly with the British Government against this act of aggression by the Irish Government and swiftly condemns the Irish Government's completely unprovoked 'Declaration of War'. Australia and the United Kingdom hold a strong and special relationship which is built on common values, culture, history and Monarchy. Australians in the United Kingdom especially Northern Ireland are requested to remain vigilant and listen to the British authorities and comply with their orders during this trying time. Australians in Ireland are also asked to remain vigilant and to not participate in any mass demonstrations or rallies that may occur and if possible, leaving Ireland at the earliest possible convenience. The Australian Government reiterates its support to the British Government and offers its assistance, militarily or otherwise, to the United Kingdom and any direct attack on the Queen or the royal family or any properties of the Queen or the royal family, will be taken as a direct act of aggression towards Australia, as she shares her role equally as the Queen of Australia likewise as the Queen of the United Kingdom.

A Brazilian spokesperson would address these issues via a public statement.

"Britain, via Zion sells weapons to various countries around the world. Therefore, it would be supporting them. Would it not? FCI sells weapons to countries around the world? Does this mean FCI supports threats to the UK?

I believe Britain also has bases overseas as far and wide, well as far and wide as the British would like to think their soft power carries them.

Does Britain not have bases or troops or planes or pilots outside of the UK?

Brazil usurping your power base in the UK is laughable at best. A mere political stunt.

And Australia is the lowest whore on the sex pole. Customers do not even bother with paper currency. Just toss coins at that wench and watch her scramble for recognition.

In a private office, a group of British Politicans were watching the public statement from Brazil:

"Why is the Brazilian government always so uptight? Throwing immature comments around like a playschool" spoke one politican.

"Well to be honest, and this isn't even a joke, I've heard the Brazilian Leader hasn't had sex in some time. The closest he's got is a strip club in Australia which is where the spokesperson last comment came from."

"So.. it's sexual frustration? I mean, I could see it. I find it cute they called us a soft power when they're scared of us and need Argentina's approval to do anything. Typical lapdog. No wonder their southern states were happy to be sold like slaves."

We chose the bottom of the pole because that's where the money lands, if you knew anything about Newton's law of universal gravitational. We're thinking with our brains, not our pussies.
