 | INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE GLOBAL ASSEMBLY |
| The International Court of Justice is the principal judicial organ of the Global Assembly. It is comprised of three chambers, the State Chamber, the Criminal Chamber, and the Commercial Chamber. • The State Chamber adjudicated disputes between states, issuing binding decisions grounded in international law. • The Criminal Chamber hears matters against individuals standing accused of the international crimes of genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and the crime of aggression. • The Commercial Chamber has jurisdiction over disputed arising from international economic activities. Alongside the adjudication of cases, the ICJ may issue advisory opinions on legal questions referred to it by the Global Assembly. |
