CC: Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan
Subject: Opening Communications with USA
Dear Secretary Price,
I am writing to extend a formal hand of cooperation and initiate a constructive and mutually beneficial bilateral relationship between our two nations.
The people of Afghanistan have endured significant challenges. We sincerely believe that fostering a positive and open dialogue with the United States of America will pave the way for our country's prosperous and stable future. We recognize the importance of international cooperation and are eager to explore avenues for collaboration in various fields.
In this spirit of cooperation, we are also interested in discussing the possibility of procuring equipment from the United States. Our primary aim is to enhance our infrastructure and capabilities to serve our people's needs better and contribute to regional stability and security, which we currently lack. We believe that we can reach agreements that will benefit our nations through respectful negotiations.
We look forward to your positive response and beginning a new chapter in Afghan-American relations. Our administration is committed to working closely with you and your esteemed colleagues to achieve common goals and to build a future characterized by peace, cooperation, and mutual respect.
Please accept my best regards,
Sincerely,
Yusuf Agha,
Foreign Affairs Minister
