From: Htin Kyaw, Prime Minister of Myanmar
Your Excellencies,
The Empire of Myanmar's government extends its highest regards to all of your nations.
In light of the growing interdependence of our economies, we believe there is a pressing need for inclusive regional development. Thus, Myanmar has the honour to invite your governments to attend a landmark summit in Naypyitaw with the goal of exploring the establishment of a new regional economic bloc to enhance trade, connectivity, and economic cooperation among our nations.
This platform will seek to unify efforts across South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and the Middle East to promote:
- Increased trade and market access through streamlined customs.
- Infrastructure development for better economic connectivity.
- Energy cooperation and resource-sharing agreements.
- Investment flows, industrial collaboration, and digital innovation.
- Food and supply chain security throughout all our nations.
The share geographic positions and economic mutuality between our nations, we believe, provides a strong foundation for a new, flexible, future-oriented regional partnership. This bloc could serve as a stabilizing force for our economies and encourage mutual growth while also respecting our sovereignty.
The proposed inaugural summit is scheduled to be held in Naypyitaw, on this day next month. We humbly invite Your Excellencies or your appointed high-level representatives to attend.
We look forward to your responses.
Sincerely,
Htin Kyaw
Prime Minister
Empire of Myanmar
