Honorable Secretary Holm,

I greet you on behalf of my government and also want to deliver congratulations to your recent elected government of Prime Minister Kristina Holmgren.
As an Asian Nation, we write your office for two subjects, my government would like to discuss with your office and more so with your government.

First we would like to establish official relations between the honorable Kingdom of Sweden and the Kingdom of Èran. Therefore we would like to discuss appointing exchanging ambassadors and embassies, and we are also keen for possible trade relations, as long as your government would entertain interest in such as well.
Secondly we also would like to discuss possibilities for the license of building your countries Taregh-class Speedboat from Boghammer, to strengthen our regular coast guard in in the Persian Gulf.

Dear HRH Bahrām-e Čūbīn,

On behalf of the Kingdom of Sweden and my office, I wish to express our sincere appreciation for your gracious letter and for extending warm congratulations to our recently elected government. Prime Minister Kristina Holmgren will lead this realm with great strength and perseverance to make reparations where necessary - this extends deeply into our international foreign policy.

I note with great interest your proposal to establish official diplomatic relations between our two nations, including the appointment of ambassadors and the potential development of trade relations. It goes without saying that we welcome this prospect and formal discussions on these matters, this is something I personally look forward to exploring with you in order to mutually benefit one another in the near future. We do already have an appointed representative, Ambassador Mattias Lentz, who operates within the Embassy of Sweden in Tehran.

In relation to your request for a licence to construct Taregh-class speedboats in the Kingdom of Èran, please be informed that all such requests are subject to careful review in accordance with Swedish export regulations and national security considerations. Your request will be entered into our queue of export requests and, given the heightened scrutiny following recent global developments, will undergo evaluation on a case-by-case basis by the Director-General of the Defence Business Administration, in consultation with the relevant legal authorities of the Government of Sweden. We value the spirit of cooperation expressed in your letter and remain committed to maintaining open dialogue. We will ensure that your proposals receive thorough and prompt consideration, and we will communicate further as the review process advances.
