I hope this cable finds you and the Kingdom of Singapore well, as it seems the relationships between several nations within Southeast Asia are currently somewhat tense at the moment. It is my hope that these matters can be resolved through fair arbitration, along with level headed diplomacy, both of which are traits of the Kingdom of Singapore. So I am quite confident that cooler heads will prevail while your nation remains committed to finding an equitable diplomatic solution to the current source of tensions within Southeast Asia.

However I am writing to you today in order to discuss the future relationship that we can build between our two nations, our nations armed forces, and the economies of our two nations. Due to the simple geographic location of the Imperial State of Iran alone, the empire can and should never orientate its foreign and security policy to far to the west of the east. The empires geographic location, coupled with our being one of the world's primary exporters of petroleum and natural gas, almost forces those of us who deal with the national security policy of the empire, to evenly devote our time and energy between both east and west. Therefore it is necessary in order for the empire to protect its economic, as well as foreign interests, to build strong partnerships with as many nations with similar goals and objectives as possible, so that Iran's maritime trade continues to flow both east and west unhindered by anything and everything from adverse weather, to piracy, and of course the hostile actions of another nation or nations. Having closely observed the Kingdom of Singapore since our government rose to power here in Iran and having begun to build a partnership with one of your close allies in the Celestial Empire, it is clear our two nations share similar objectives and regional policies and are natural partners.

Therefore it is my hope that our two nations can increase diplomatic ties, economic links, industrial cooperation, security coordination, and social ties, in order to speed our respective nations rise as "Asian Tigers", who seek to become prosperous, powerful, truly meaningful regional actors. To begin the process of forging a meaningful partnership between our two nations, the Shah has initially proposed the signing of an FTA between our two nations, as Iranian natural resources can ensure the longterm energy and raw materials security of the Kingdom of Singapore, while Singapore can provide Iranian markets with high-tech machine, high-tech machine parts, and cutting edge electronics, in order to increase the amount of options that consumers within Iran have when purchasing high-end electronics and machinery.

The Shah would also like a meeting to take place between representatives of our two nations, so that we may discuss further the potential economic and industrial cooperation that he wishes to see enacted between our two nations. While the Shah would also like our representatives to discuss cooperation and coordination regarding our respective armed forces and defence industries. It is to that end that I am quite pleased to say that the Imperial Iranian Armed Forces are planning a large buy of armaments, armoured vehicles, howitzer, and warships, from the Singaporean defence industry, once the reorganization process of the Imperial Iranian Armed Forces and the consolidation of many of Iran's companies within the defence industry is complete very shortly. It is my hope that with the size and value of this contract, the Royal Singaporean Armed Forces would purchase equipment from the empires defence industry, once our defence industry is successfully reorganized and consolidated, in order to offset our respective purchases for mutual benefit.

It has been my pleasure to address you and I'm hopeful that we will be meeting soon to discuss a whole range of Oppurtunities for our two nations to develop a strong partnership across numerous sectors.

Our King wished to reach out to your government personally after news reached us of your country's return to Monarchism, but politics and a Kingdom have kept him extremely busy. I have been bestowed the authority to speak with your government with the full authority of the King himself, as he's currently engaged in on a diplomatic mission in China. That said, I am currently available at our capital city, and an invitation to the Royal Palace has been extended to yourself and all of those you wish to bring with you, assuming you wished to discuss things in person. The Shahanshah is thrilled to learn that King Wei shares a similar interest in developing bilateral relations between our two emerging nations and he would also like to extend an open invitation for King Wei to travel to Iran on an official state visit as soon as it is convenient for him to do so.

The Shah is certainly understanding when it comes to the burdens of kingship and understands that King Wei is himself a very busy man. Indeed from the Shah, to all of our ministers, civil servants, government employees, soldiers, etc, are all nearly overwhelmed with our current workload, given the suddeness of the collapse of the Islamic Republic. When tens of millions of disaffected Iranians came out onto the streets, rallying behind the standard of the Shah, it was not simply the Supreme Leader and those Ayatollahs closely aligned with him who were removed from power, the entire system that the Ayatollahs spent decades constructing has been dismantled. So from the Shah on down, we are all quite literally rebuilding the Iranian nation from the ground level, as it simply wouldn't be possible to attempt to enact the sweeping changes that the Shah has envisioned for Iran, were the institutions and supporters of the Islamic Republic to be staffing most of the positions within the government ministries, provincial and local governments, armed forces, etc. So while this has made the "White Revolution" quite hectic and overwhelming at times, in the long-term it is what's in the best interests of the Imperial State of Iran and the world for that matter.

Fortunately however, the Shah has approved my travel to Singapore in order to meet with you at the Royal Palace, so that our two nations may grab this excellent opportunity to expand our bilateral relations and discuss various matters of commercial, geopolitical, and military importance. The Shah has tasked me with heading an official delegation from the Imperial State of Iran, which will include myself, Minister of Science and Technology of the Imperial State of Iran, Ali Larijani, the Commander of the Imperial Iranian Navy, Commodore Hossein Khanzadi, the CEO of Iran Aviation Industries Organization, Dr. Abdolkarim Banitarafi, the CEO of Iran Electronics Industries, Javad Alam, the CEO of Defense Industries Organization Brigadier General Hossein Dehghani Poudeh, and the CEO of Iran Shipbuilding & Offshore Industries Complex Company, Commodore Ali Fadavi. Upon our arrival in Singapore, would it be possible for our delegation to meet with representatives of Lion Defense Industries, ST Engineering and all of its subsidiary companies, and any other Singaporean firms that might be interested in engaging in commerce with the Imperial State of Iran and the gathered Iranian firms? As I believe we can negotiate a number of very lucrative contracts between Iranian and Singaporean firms and our respective governments.

I'm seeing to a few urgent matters here in Tehran and then I'll be meeting the with the rest of the Iranian delegation at Tehran Reza Shah International Airport for the flight to Singapore. With the Imperial Iranian Air Force being reconstructed, reformed, and reorganized, in the wake of the "White Revolution", our delegation will be traveling commercially to Singapore. An Iran Air Airbus A321-200 airliner has been commissioned to fly our delegation to Singapore and we shall be airborne and bound for Singapore in a few hours.

The Iranian government would be given the clearance to land at Changi Airport at their latest convenience. Upon arrival to the country, their Airplane would be directed to a secured area that was separate from the main civilian airport.

Edward would meet the delegation as they exited the airplane and entered a private terminal, separated from the chaos elsewhere in the airport. "Good day to you all, and welcome to the Kingdom of Singapore." Edward would offer a handshake to his counterpart from Iran. "We've prepared a conference room for the discussions to take place. In regards to your request for LDI and it's subsidiaries to send representatives of their own, you will be pleased to know that my King has given me full authority to act as temporary President of the company in his absence."

He would lead the Iranians and his own cadre of diplomats and advisers down the hall and into a medium-sized conference room that was indeed ready for a long meeting, if necessary. Singaporean diplomats moved to their respective seats, and Edward would sit at the helm, presumably across from Major General Jafari. Water would be poured for all the individuals currently seated in the room...but that didn't stop Edward from having a few bottles of vintage brandy sitting on the table as well.

"To start off, our King wishes to apologize for not being here for negotiations himself. He's currently attending a conference in Hong Kong, but he plans to reciprocate the visit in the near future. That said, both the King and I appreciate the nation of Iran taking an interest in our Kingdom."
