Elections have begun and as is customary the polling stations have opened through Ireland as the people prepare to cast their ballots for the party of their choice. The party with a majority in Parliament after the election will have the task of appointing a prime minister who will in turn appoint a cabinet as part of coalition government. Voting lasts from December 1 (November 11th) to December 4th (November 15)
