Greetings Mr. Bourne, I would like to discuss the possibility of deploying a team of 150 infantrymen from The Army Rangers Wing of my country's defense forces alongside that of Her Majesty's own in order to combat terrorism and evacuate Irish citizens from Afghanistan.

The Prime Minister of Ireland, George McGinness, has been invited to a phone call with a member of the Prime Ministers Office support team, Geoff White, to discuss the email.

Mr. McGuinness would kindly accept the invitation from the Prime Minister's support team to discuss the aforementioned email.

 

[Jamie]

The call from Geoff White was left in silence until Mr McGuinness joined. As soon as he accepted the call, Mr White begun to speak.
"Hello, thank you for taking my call. I thought it'd be easier to discuss over the phone then an email exchange. I'd like to raise a few questions, as I'm unaware of any problems in Afghanistan, perhaps you can enlighten me what problems are occuring in Afghanistan? There hasn't been any noted terrorist incidents there in over 6 years; but your email suggests action?"

Prime Minister McGuinness would wait until Mr. White finished his sentence before responding to his inquiry. "My utmost apologies, Mr. White it seems as though there has been s miscommunication and understanding regarding this particular subject matter."

 

[Jamie]

"Oh? There isn't any problems with Afghanistan?", the British Delegate remained confused.

 

[Dragon]

"my ministers must've screwed up their analysis of things. I mean to refer to that one group of militants but it escapes my mind." McGuinness said curiously trying to pick at his brain.

 

[Jamie]

"Al-Mutahida? The group in Iran. Britain has begun air strikes in support of the Iranian Regime, as per request by the Iranian regime. We are providing close air support for their ever-struggling armed forces to counter the threat of Al-Mutahida. The group responsible for the two attacks in London late last year."

 

[Dragon]

"Yes, indeed. my country would be more than happy to provide a few extra boots on the ground in the fight against the terrorist menace plaguing an otherwise peaceful world." McGuinness said sighing with relief prior to taking a sip of tea.

 

[Jamie]

"Thank you for the offer, however, the British Complement in Iran is purely air assets. We've offered a flight of Fast Jets to provide Close Air Support, in support of the Iranian Regime as they go against the Al-Mutahida Extremist Group. Our mandate is restricted to that air support, which, at the moment, the Iranian Armed Forces are the only boots on the ground present in the struggle."

 

[Dragon]

"Your welcome, Mr. Bourne. if Her Majesty's Armed Forces need any such assistance in the near future, my country would more than happy to let you use a few of our ports for refueling and stocking supplies." McGuinness would take another sip of tea and then for a brief second take a look at his watch. "it seems as though I must depart for a few hours....I have an Orange Order meeting to attend. Thank Your for Your Time, God Bless You."

"It's been a pleasure, we will keep your offer in mind. We are unsure as to where the events in Iran will lead us as of yet. But, I look forward to further communications with you surrounding the relationship between the UK and Ireland.", with that, the call would end after the representatives made their farewells.
