Subject: Irish membership in The ETO

The Kingdom of Ireland in light of recent events has decided to explore the possibility of full time membership within The European Treaty Organization with the expressed intent of improving our economic state of being and forging new friendship from which the Irish people will benefit from immensely. We at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade are currently awaiting a response.

Sincerely,
Patrick Duffy,
Foreign Minister of The Kingdom of Ireland

Dear Mr Duffy,

I would like to thank you for your message and apologise for the late reply, I was preoccupied by the Council of Leader Session. We at the European Treaty Organisation are pleased to hear of your interest in joining the organisation. While membership to the organisation will not be simple, we are more than willing to assist you as you take the steps to becoming a member state.

First of all I am eager to hear of your motivation for joining the organisation, and of course we are required to be kept up to date on your governments policies to important matters such as defence, economics, foreign relations, human rights. May I ask, have you initiated and forged positive diplomatic relations with the current member states?

Yours Sincerely,
T.VREESWIJK

Greetings Mr. Van Vreeswijk, I would like to thank you for having taken the necessary time to address my message regarding the possibility of Irish membership within The European Treaty Organization. My country, is more than willing to accept your assistance and the various stipulations regarding the obtainment of membership within a designated period of time.

On the subject of motives, The Kingdom of Ireland sees membership in The European Treaty Organization as being a golden oppurtunity to improve our people's standard of living, our relations with Britain, and providing for a greater market from which to boast the economy and increase trade something essential to Ireland's very existence. Over the past month or so I have attempted to forge diplomatic ties between my country and Great Britain along with The German Reich but apart from that we've kept to ourselves.

Sincerely,
Patrick Duffy, Foreign Minister of Ireland

Dear Mr Duffy,

My staff and I have been planning to reform the membership process. However I see it important to bring more European nations into the organisation so that we properly represent the continent. I would further like to apologise for my delay in responding to you. I would like to advise you continue seeking diplomatic relations with all members and European nations.

To begin the membership process I will bring your request to the European Parliament, if they approve to begin the process I will return to you with a solid plan of action on how to proceed. I would like to ask, is there any topic that interests the Irish government, it would allow me to plan the setting up of ETO agency headquarters in your nation.

Yours Sincerely,
T.VREESWIJK

From - Patrick Duffy, Foreign Minister of Èire
To - Thomas Vreeswijk, Head of ETO

Thanks for getting back with me and my colleagues at the foreign office in Dublin, we are quite pleased to hear from you after these last few months of relative silence regarding my country's attempt to obtain membership in the ETO. Measures shall be taken to consolidate relations with The various European nationstates as soon as possible. On the subject of membership and topics for discussion we have no concerns.

Sincerely, Patrick Duffy,
Foreign Minister of Èire

Dear Mr Duffy,

My staff have informed me of some disturbing news released by Ireland Today. Would it be possible to inform me of the current situation in Ireland, if there is anything the European Treaty Organisation could do to assist the people of Ireland?

Yours Sincerely,

Subject - Tensions in Èire

Dear Mr. Vreeswijk, my government seems to be on the brink of collapse as Èire continues to find herself plagued by one of the harshest winters in its history complete with shortages, riots, and to top it off martial law. In the west of the country there is growing cause for alarm as anarchists attempt to bring about a societal change entailing the overthrow of my prime minister's administration just 3-4 months in. If the ETO wishes to help the Irish people such help would be better off coming in the form of sending food stuffs and a task force to keep the peace. If you could do this for my country I would really appreciate it.

Sincerely, Patrick Duffy

Dear Mr Duffy,

I will do my absolute best to deliver the aid you require, however to resolve the situation I must also be aware of the cause. What is the root of the riots, how is it this anarchist force is gaining strength? I will contact the heads of governments of the Netherlands and Great Britain and attempt to find a solution to your shortages, however the European Treaty Organisation is not a military organisation and I cannot sanction any military intevention or peace keeping force, that is something that must be arranged bilaterally between you and the governments of Britain and the Netherlands.

From Patrick Duffy, Foreign Minister of Èire
To Thomas Vreeswijk, Head of ETO

The root cause of these issues is the fact that the government has been hampered with requests to distribute aid and find a satisfactory solution to the winter crisis. Parliament hasn't been in session in roughly a month due to severe weather and has only been in session to enact martial law to deal with the demonstrations in the streets. The Anarchist movement was revived thanks to the sheer ineptitude of the government's responses to the demands of the Irish people. They have formed an army and council to counter the authority of the state thus earning the people's trust and respect.
