[Israel] Approaching Russia

In Israeli diplomatic relations, the significance of approaching Russia had often been ignored. While its predecessor state had a noteworthy tendency to oppose Israel and attack its Jews, this had significantly changed in the 90s and later. Combined with Russia's proximity and historic influence in the Middle East it was another important destination for the new diplomatic offensive.

On a secured line, a call would be made to the Krelin requesting a conversation with President Putin.

With President Putin now free, he'd accept the call on an encrypted line "President Putin, how can I help?"

"President Putin, this is President David. As part of the recent inauguration I would like to reach out to fellow world leaders which the Israeli state would like to develop closer relations with. Considering our shared histories and the large Russian Jewish population in Israel I feel there is much for both of us to gain from increased relations"
