The Queen blinked and Ji-Woo saw. For the first time in this entire political debate, she realized that the words of the Empress had rattled the queen. The People's Republic of China... out of all three?! The Communists?! They had reached the first political roadblock. Ji-Woo wanted to reach over and grab the Empress by her exorbitantly extravagant gown and shake sense into her. Not the Communists, she wanted to scream in her face. Sure, all three nations in that area of the globe were looked at with distaste. Vietnam was looked at with fear of their overwhelming military and suspicion for their constant meddling into foreign affairs, China was looked at with distrust for their role in suppressing the Kingdom in the the Korean War for Independence, and Taiwan was... well... Taiwan. It had to be the least of the three evils.
But, she merely tilted her head and sat still.
"Well, my Empress..." Queen Ha-Eun began, unsure of where to tread. "Just know that wherever Japan goes, the Kingdom will not be far behind. Have you been in communication with the new party in charge of the People's Republic?"
