Although, I hope it does not escalate to such a point." Placing various papers back into his folder, Putin would clear his throat. "I believe we've made a good foundation for Japanese-Russian Relations here, Mr. Prime Minister. We seem to agree on many points. Is there anything else you wished to discuss? If not, I should leave you to other matters, as I'm sure you have many."

I will make sure these documents are signed and returned to yourself and other representatives in the Russian Government via fax. This security and defense pact will show the world that peace in Asia is of the upmost importance. I thank you for your support in the defense of the Japanese Realm. As said, however, our government may plan to make changes to the agreement before we send it over. We will send a signed copy for your review and if you agree. It will be enacted."
